This comfortable and clean studio with a kitchen and private terrace is located in the very heart of this bustling town. You are a few steps away from all the shopping, restaurants and bars and it takes two minutes to get to the main beach and surf spot.
The apartment is located at the 2nd floor, has two beds, one Queen and one Individual and a well ventilated bathroom with windows. The terrace has a cozy daybed with pillows, a hammock and a table with 2 chairs. There is an outdoor kitchen right next to the studio with a stove, refridgerator, mixer, coffeemaker and basic utensils. Plus, the famous Chocobanana Cafe is right across the street if you want to zip over, get yourself a coffee and bring it back to your terrace.
When sitting on your terrace during the day, you will find it surprisingly quiet. In the evening and at night, of course, all the restaurants and bars come alive and there are often events on the Plaza, showcasing authentic Mexican lifestyle. You'll have the advantage to watch this lively mix from your secret spot. It can get noisy.
Wifi connection is available from the Café Chocobananas right across the street.
Sheets are changed and maid service is provided once a week if you stay for 2 weeks or more. No smoking allowed. And no dogs, either, sorry!
I updated the water supply system in June 2017 so that there is now sufficient water pressure for the shower :-)

My bodywork/massage studio is located at the other end of the terrace where I am working during the day. But the whole space upstairs is big enough so we woun't be disturbing each other. I am of course available for chats or questions about the place and town. And you are more than welcome to book a deep tissue massage or Rolfing session with me while you're here!

I am sharing the street level entrance with a farmacy and this door is usually open during the day. It is always locked during the night for your safety. You will have keys of course to come and go as you please.
The 2nd floor is accessed via a (normal-sized) spiral staircase. You will be able to get your surf board up there for safe storage should you rent one for your entire stay.
One word about toilet paper disposal in Mexico: it is never thrown into the toilet, no-where in this country. This might seem a bit strange to someone who has never been here before. Different countries - different habits.....and maybe different plumbing systems ;-)
As said before, this appartment is right across the main plaza, so whatever exciting event is going on down there, you are going to hear it. There are as well plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate neighborhood, for example the amazing and deliscious Pizzeria "La Rustica".
Since I have my bodywork studio on the same terrace, you cannot play any loud music during the day. You don't need to be extra quiet either.
Born and raised in Germany, I have been living since 16 years in Mexico. I am a self-employed Rolfer and massage therapist and I love it (my clients as well :-)). Before I moved to Mexico I studied Textile Engineering in Russia and after graduation started working for a worldwide-operating textile company in Germany. I kept working for the same company for 4 years in Poland and 3 years in Italy ...and then I had enough :-)......left everything and moved to Mexico without knowing what I would do next. Its over 13 years now that I am a bodyworker and I am still amazed how quickly these years flew by...... life is good ...... and its getting better with every year :)
