Our clean, light, stylish, self-contained, fully air-conditioned unit is your Brisbane home away from home!

It's a fantastic location with plenty to explore - close to South Bank, West End, Brisbane's CBD, the University of Queensland, QUT, the Mater and PA hospitals, and so much more... with easy public transport options at your doorstep.

Explore inner Brisbane or simply chill out on the balcony, with our top floor view stretching from the the CBD across the leafy suburbs of Brisbane's south-east. Being on the top floor means a few stairs, and there is no lift or wheelchair access - we're sorry! It's also worth being comfortable with heights.

The apartment has a Queen size bed with a brand new mattress and bedding, an ensuite with a shower and amenities, an open plan lounge room and kitchen area, and a balcony with excellent breezes and a stunning view!

Our kitchen is fully prepared with everything you need to cook onsite, with two corner stores in walking distance and Coles and Woolworths a short drive or bus ride away.

Time for coffee or a quick meal? There are some fantastic cafes and restaurants very close by. Around the corner, Three Bowls Cafe (43 Gloucester St) will serve you mystery meals wrapped up as presents, or Pear Cafe (43 Gladstone Rd) creates excellent coffee and breakfast goodies (and very vegetarian-friendly!).

Walk or take the bus down to the cultural hub of West End, home to some fantastic bars including The Lychee Lounge (94 Boundary St), Cobbler (7 Browning St), The Bearded Lady (138 Boundary St), The Borough (37 Mollison St) and The End (73 Vulture St).

Just want to zone out? We've got a full entertainment system, featuring a flat screen TV, Apple TV, and an Xbox360 (plays DVDs) and Wii on site with a wide range of games to play. We also have super-fast, free wireless internet for visitors looking to stream their own content.

There are plenty of transport options available to make getting around a breeze. Walk to South Bank in 15 minutes, or the city in 25 minutes. Or, even easier, there's a bus stop directly across the road from the building with frequent buses which will take you into Brisbane's CBD or West End, or out to UQ.

We also have a car spot (with roof cover) available under the building for your vehicle.

You will have the entire apartment to yourself. Access is via a key lockbox on the front door. We will provide you with an access code prior to your arrival.

We (Kira and Dominic) are a short drive away and contactable via mobile at any time - so we will always be available if you require anything at all.

Highgate Hill is located in central Brisbane, wedged next to the cultural/foodie/entertainment districts of South Bank and West End.

There is direct bus access to Brisbane city, West End, South Brisbane, South Bank and the University of Queensland (UQ) right outside the apartment block.

You can stroll all the way out to UQ or into the city within 30 minutes, with West End and South Bank being even closer!

We also have a covered car park available underneath the building. Please let us know if you will be driving and we can give you more detailed instructions.

We had to be up high to get our beautiful view, and it's stair access only. There is no wheelchair access and there are no lifts, we're sorry!

We're LGBTIQ friendly, and so is the area!

There is absolutely no smoking within the apartment or on the balcony. You are required to walk out to the side walk if you would like to smoke. Thank you for your understanding.

We are open to the idea of pets, but please understand that the apartment is on the top floor of the block with no enclosed yard area. Feel free to ask us questions if you're unsure.
