Within fifteen (plus or minus five) minutes of Boeing, Providence Hospital, Everett Marina and the U.S. Naval Base. Comfortable and welcoming house with near by views of the Puget Sound and mountains. The high ceilings and big single paned windows create a generous space full of light. We are in a lovely, walkable neighborhood with fantastic scenic views. We're near parks, groceries, the library, art and culture, restaurants, and approx. 30 min from Seattle.
Your modern bathroom is downstairs on the first floor. It's private unless there are other guests.

We have two pups. One, Bella, is an ancient little poodle who looks like a tiny bear and is very sweet. Ike, our Golden, is five, and a love, if a bit rambunctious. If you're uncomfortable with dogs, just let us know! Easy to keep them away.

I'm an artist and my studio is on the third floor of our house. Bill's a psychology professor in the PsyD program at Antioch University and also has a private practice. I love cooking and hosting "strangers from strange lands" because I believe that it helps to bring our world closer together. There is nothing more fun than having my nine-foot long dining table (which was actually Admiral Perry's Chart Table on board the ship he was in when he explored the North Pole) occupied by people from all over the world. I love making people comfortable, providing a soft, safe nest, peace, quiet, and warmth.
Bill and I were high school heart-throbs who, forty years later, finally re-united. We married in 2010 and consider ourselves profoundly lucky. My two kids are grown and on their own paths now. We bought this huge old rambling house to encourage future visits from family and friends and with an eye towards one of my bucket-list dreams, which has always been to have a Bed and Breakfast.
Bill and I enjoy fly fishing, mossy-forest-hiking, beach sitting as well as theater, concerts and good restaurants. We are happy to point your way to some great adventures that are close by. Our house looks onto the Puget Sound with the Olympic Mountain range beyond. Seattle's about thirty minutes to the south of us and full of fun and interesting city venues. Therefore we are a perfect stopping off place for those wanting to access either activities in the City or Wilderness. What could possibly be better!
