This updated, trendy, beautiful, gated apartment is light & spacious. It has a sunny balcony, two good sized ensuite bedrooms, lounge/dining area, TV, free Wi-fi & separate kitchen. It has air conditioning and heaters. There are 3 swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers. It is a step away from popular golf clubs, Puerto Banus, clubs, restaurants, bars & cafes. There are many safe, sandy beaches closeby. Marbella & the golden mile is very close, plus attractions such as the butterfly park.
We have a gorgeous, modern apartment set between Puerto Banus and Nueva Andalucia.
It is light and airy and has been furnished and decorated to a high end specification creating a welcoming, smart, trendy upbeat apartment.
It has a separate kitchen, which is well appointed with dishwasher, washing machine, brand new fridge/freezer, oven with hob, plus chairs and table. There is a microwave, kettle and toaster etc., which are also brand new. There is a brand new iron and ironing board in the kitchen.
The two bedrooms are spacious each one having their own ensuite, air conditioning and panel heaters for the winter.
The twin bedroom has a good size wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is a large window in this room which over looks the walkways through the community.
The master bedroom is a kingsize double with a window giving views of the balcony. From the bedroom there is a dressing/wardrobe area leading to the larger than average ensuite with bath/shower over.
The lounge/dining room is light and spacious with white gloss furniture creating the "wow" effect. There is a good size dining table for 4-6 people.
There is a low coffee table and another table on which there is a 42" TV. There is a large settee filled with comfy cushions and it has a day bed at one end making it the perfect place for watching many television channels/sport/recent movies and catch up TV in the evenings.
The TV has an easy to use menu and provides all the entertainment you will need including English and many European programmes and radio stations.
There is free Wifi throughout the apartment.
A patio door leads off the lounge area opening on to a balcony with a further table and seating area, perfect for alfresco dining. The balcony receives sun for the most of the day during the summer months, and until the mid afternoon for the rest of the year.
Because of the layout of the grounds there are little walkways throughout the area making it safe and interesting to walk to both the gates and the swimming pool. It is lit at night.
In the grounds are 3 swimming pools, with loungers making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a day of simply doing nothing but sunbathing and swimming. Bliss!
For those of you who like to visit Spain out of season there is a smaller swimming pool, which is heated during the winter season. Just ask for more details when booking.
For those bringing a car, there is a dedicated car space in the garage, or you can park on the road just outside the apartment.
If you are looking at other properties on the same complex, please do look at our photos and you will see that compared to some other apartments ours is of a high standard, and this is reflected in our price. We want you to feel safe, secure and comfortable during your holiday. We hope that you will leave feeling relaxed, happy and pampered.

Although our apartment at La Maestranza, is our own home, it has been created especially for our guests, which means the apartment is just for you, for your private use.
The layout is as described above.
The apartment comes with its own parking space in the underground garage. Or if you prefer you can parking on the road outside. There is a lift from the garage to just outside the apartment.
The gated complex has three pools. Two geared up for the summer season and include a large covered area for the tiny tots. The third one is open all year round! It is heated during the winter and when we used it in March it was like swimming in a bath tub, it was fantastically warm!

You will be met upon arrival by our agent, and taken to the apartment. The complex has a guard permanently on duty. They will be just a phone call away.
If you need to speak to us or our agent, that's fine, just email or text us.
Someone will see you on departure, for the hand over of keys etc.
Once you have booked the apartment we can liaise with you over the coming weeks to explain any queries you have about the booking/apartment, and explain where to shop for food etc.
If anything happens whilst you are in the apartment, and something breaks, please mention it to the agent upon departure. We understand that sometimes people do have accidents. We ask you to remember that this is our home, and ask you to respect our home and it's furnishings and equipment. Thank you.

Because of its situation you can stay in the area for quite a while and never get bored. You can swim in the sea, walk to Marbella along the broad walk, and return by the ferry. You can explore old Marbella and enjoy lunch in Orange Square and explore the old town full of its independent shops.
Take the credit card for an outing to uptown Puerto Banus and enjoy some funtime in the exclusive high end boutiques. Watch the yachts glide in and out of the picturesque harbour at Puerto Banus whilst having a drink or ice cream and relax in the sunshine.
Both San Pedro and Benahavis are close by and each has something to offer.
San Pedro has a large festival in October which lasts for 4 days and is amazing with fireworks, rides, food bars and dancing well into the early hours of the morning. It has a great long beach with volley ball areas and as with all beaches has showers on the beach.
Benahavis is a short journey up into the mountains and is simply delightful. There is a weekly market with easy parking. The restaurant and bars are lively and friendly and serve good quality meals. There are a few independent art galleries and an amazing silver/goldsmith. It's a pleasant way to spend a morning with a little park at the entrance perfect just to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
Venture a little further and you will find the sleepy villages of Istan and Ojen, or lovely Mijas with the donkeys and views to take your breathe away. In the other direction is Estepona with its harbour and market, and old quaint streets full of flowering plants on the walls, making it so pretty.
If feeling more adventurous you could drive to Ronda and see the bull ring and views over the gorge. It is amazing and makes a fabulous day out.
Nearby is a zoo and butterfly park or for the more hardy you can walk/run/cycle between Marbella and Estepona on a dedicated coastal pathway. (Please note large sections of this pathway is built, but parts are still to be finished. Please consult local maps for progress.)
The apartment was completely decorated for the 2016 season. It looks really good, and we are very pleased with it. It's now very light and airy, and looks very smart. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

No smoking in the apartment please.
No more than 4 people can stay in the apartment at any one time.
This is because of local by-laws.
All damages/breakages to any furnishings, fixtures and fittings, crockery and glassware are to be paid for by occupants on exit day to our representative.
Please be careful with faked tan, make up etc. These can mark towels, sheets and chairs. If anything happens please show our agent upon departure.
Spain has recently changed its laws and the following two things now have to be observed.
1. All guests must be greeted personally. Between the hours of 8.00 am and 9.00 pm this service is completely free, but for any times outside that period there will be an additional fee of 50 euros. You will be met personally, and the keys for the apartment will be given to you along with the dos and donts about the apartment.
This is obviously a good safety note and one which we will be using.
2. We need to have the name and ages of all guests staying at the apartment.
Under new Spanish law, all guests must send us a copy of their passports prior to all bookings. We hope you understand that this is a Spanish law and you will support us in this legislation.
3. Our agent will see you at the end of your stay so you can hand back the keys etc.
4. Our Spanish Registration number is: VFT/MA/02525
This is not a house rule, but something to remember, most of Spain closes down on a Sunday. So be aware that most shops will close on Sundays, festival days and holidays.
Restaurants, bars and cafes will probably stay open.
Your booking confirmation is the agreement to all of the above conditions.
Hi and welcome to our apartment in Spain. I'm fairly new to Airbnb, but have been associated with the hospitality industry for ten years. The people in Spain are so warm and friendly making it easy going and relaxing.
The apartment in Spain is great. We love going there. We are close to so many good places to eat, we are truly spoilt for choice. The beaches, bars and clubs are only about a 15-20 minute walk away. The weather even out of season is a delight and it's a joy to walk on the broad walk by the beaches in the sun during any season.
The picture? Taken at the delightful Dingles Fairground. An interesting indoor attraction close to us in north Devon. Well worth the visit.
