As stated in the listing, our house was built by the Café Rey family. Café Rey is equivalent to “Folgers” in the USA [i.e. high brand recognition]. There is no such thing as a Folger’s farm. Nor is such represented. Michele received the same warm hospitality that all guests receive. She had the entire three-bedroom house to herself, which she loved. Michele reserved for three nights and asked to extend for an additional three weeks. Michele is financially abusive. •Her nightly rate was 25% discounted, then she was upset when we declined her offer to extend for a further 25% discount. •Michele stiffed us for her taxi fare [twice]. •Michele borrowed and kept my umbrella. •Michele borrowed and used my smartphone for free. •Michele dropped and broke my smartphone but didn’t want to take responsibility for it. She stated that the identical “refurbished” model on eBay was not the same as “used”. •Michele miss-operated one of the toilets, wasting 100’s of gallons of water and electricity. Overall, Michele was an ungrateful, high-maintenance guest. She enjoyed a Four Seasons experience on a Motel 6 budget and she still complained - the only bad guest we've had.

In Costa Rica everything grows. That makes me feel like a real "green thumb" gardner. I enjoy caring for our garden, coffee and fruit trees.
