The Maalaea Kai is a ground floor 1br 1ba condo with a direct oceanfront view 30 yards from the ocean. It is completly remodeled and upgraded. It has a full kitchen with koa wood cabinets and all appliances, dishes, utensils with new countertops and a built in D/W. There is a coffee pot and a coffee bean grinder as well.
The condo is equipped with all bed and bath linens. We have beach towels and chairs, cooler and a boogie board as well. The bedroom has a king size bed and lots of closet space. We have all new ceramic tile flooring throughout. The bathroom has a glass block shower. There is newly installed air conditioning and we have ceiling fans throughout. We have W/D access which is credit card operated in the laundry rooms on three floors. There is free high speed internet and free local and long distance calling phone calling to the US and Canada. There is cable TV and a DVD in the living room. Step right out to the best lawn and grounds in Maalaea. There is an Olympic size swimming pool with gas grills and lounge chairs on the grounds as well. Public transit is just a few blocks away.

The condo is located in Maalaea Village on the South Coast near the Ocean Activity Center (Aquarium) and directly east of the Maalaea Harbor This is where the snorkling, dinner cruise, whale watching and fishing boats go out. It is along Maalaea Bay. The condo is on a dead end street that Is the start of Sugar Beach. A powdered sandy beach that is at the end of the block and extends 3 1/2 miles all the way to Kihei. We walk barefoot almost every day we are there.
You can see Green Sea Turtles popping their heads up for air out in front where they live in their caves. Humpback Whales arrive every year into Maalaea Bay directly in front of the condo where Mama Whales give birth to baby calves that you can see blowing and breaching and fin slapping and growing up to get ready for their journey back to Alaska in April and May. Look across Maalaea Bay and up to the summit of Mt. Haleakala to see spectacular sunrises from the lanai.
