“The Museum Quarter consists of two museums: the renewed Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch and Het Noordbrabants Museum. Both offer a wide range of art and culture. With over 5000 m2, this is one of the largest museums in the Netherlands. The art pieces vary from contemporary to historical. The garden, lunch room, museum shop, and library can be visited without a ticket during opening hours.”

“The best place to grab lunch is DIT, located at Snellestraat. DIT is a foodbar that serves loads of humor (their menu is hilarious) and great dishes that are perfect for sharing.”

Establishment
“This majestic church, built between 1370 and 1529, expresses the wealth of 's-Hertogenbosch in the late Middle Ages. St. Johns Cathedral is luxuriously decorated with statues, pointed arches, figurines, and large windows. The tower, which is 43 metres high, is open to the public. St. Johns Cathedral is located at the Parade.”

“10. Local treats are “Bossche Bol” which you can get at any street corner, although the real Bosch people will say the only real Bossche Bol is the one from “Jan de Groot pastry” located near the central station. Another treat is the so called “worstenbroodje”, literally translated: “Sausagesandwich”. It doesn’t come close to a sandwich, but when heated up they’re delicious. Go get one at the market on Saturday. ”

“The Jheronimus Bosch Art Center (JBAC), located in an old church, displays all masterpieces by Jheronimus Bosch. Even though the pieces in the tower are replicas, they are displayed in their original size and framed as originals. Do not forget to climb the tower: you will have an excellent view of the city.”

“The Bossche Broek is a nature reserve of 202 ha in the Dommel valley southeast of the city centre. It is a valuable link on a European scale, and that’s why it has a so called "Natura 2000" status. The nature reserve consists mainly of grasslands with rare plants, which occur mainly where underground water is available. You will find marsh sedge, marsh cartel leaves, peat fluff, cinquefoil, water gentian, marsh marigold, flower swans, great burnet, horsetail and beak sedge. It is a beautiful location to go for a walk and enjoy nature.”

“The number one activity in Den Bosch which is highly popular: a boat trip on the city canals. A skipper guide will take you on a historic boat ride 'underneath the city'. You will experience Den Bosch in a unique way and hear beautiful stories about the city's history. Please note: the skipper will only speak in Dutch, but English booklets are available.”

“Wil je alleen even een borrel drinken? Helemaal goed! Iets te snacken erbij? No problemo. Oh, toch maar even een ontbijtje of een goeie lunch? Ga je gang. En als je er toch zit, dan kun je net zo goed blijven dineren. ”

“After dinnertime, the café's at Korte Putstraat clear their dining tables to welcome guests for a night filled with dancing. Roels is the most popular cafe in the street and can be quite busy sometimes, but also a lot of fun. If you find it too crowded, hit 't Pantofffeltje across or any other dance café in that street.”
