“Putra Indoor Stadium (Malay: Stadium Putra), currently named as Axiata Arena for sponsorship reasons, is an indoor arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The arena has the highest seating capacity of any indoor venue in Malaysia with a maximum capacity of 16,000 seats.[1][2] The stadium has 3 main doors which lead to a rectangular arena 69 × 25 meters large, which can adapt to different sports formats like boxing, badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, judo, handball, wrestling, gymnastics and football. The stadium is also fully customisable for concerts and seminars during both day and night due to its opaque roof.”

“Bukit Jalil is an affluent suburb in Kuala Lumpur. It is home to the largest sport complex in the country, National Sport Complex, Bukit Jalil Stadium and the Axiata Arena, popular venue of world class concerts and events. As an up and coming city center, the neighborhood is bustling with new cafes and areas to hang out. The food scene here as well as in the nearby Sri Petaling is very popular with locals. Just across the Bukit Jalil Recreational Park, a brand new mall - the Pavilion Bukit Jalil will be opening soon. Bukit Jalil is strategically located to all the major highways, which means getting to the city center takes 20mins and to other neighborhoods such as Mont Kiara 35-40mins. Bukit Jalil is popular with students as there are 3 universities close by, young families and young professionals. ”

“A local Mamak joint right at the entrance to Block B of Link2@Bukit Jalil. They offer the usual selection of local Mamak food. The Tandoori Chicken and Naan is nothing to shout for but they offer a selection of decent lunch dishes for a low price. If you don't wish to spend money on western food at the other cafes, this is the only other option currently available within walking distance. :)”
