“Bretton Woods is New Hampshire's largest ski area with 464 acres of skiing and snowboarding on 63 trails and 35 glades and three terrain parks! Ten lifts, including the Bretton Woods Skyway 8-passenger gondola and four high-speed quads, make your ride up the mountain almost as fun as the ride down. If there's snow falling, chances are we've got it - or we can make it with snow-making on 92% of our trails. And, because you'll want to stay on our slopes until after dark, we also offer night skiing and riding.”

“This restaurant is unbelievably good. Portions are perfect, great selection. Staff super friendly. Really can't beat the prices either. Share the Captains Platter, it comes with fried Haddock, Bay Scallops, Shrimp and clam stripes (you can substitute for whole belly clams for only $3).”

“Great place to pick up a trail map, have a bite to eat and hike. We love the fairly easy hike up Elephant's Head nearby. The view from the top of a rock that really does look like an Elephant's head is breathtaking.”

“This is an out-and-back hike 5.4 mile hike to the summits of Mount Martha and Owl's Head: two peaks on Cherry Mountain (directly west of the northern Presidentials). Rated as difficult and steep in parts, Mount Martha offers views to Franconia Ridge and Owl's Head has excellent views to the Presidentials, including Mount Washington. Mount Martha is included on New Hampshire's 100-highest list.”

“One of our top-three hikes in the Whites. Easy-moderate 3 mile each way hike to the Zealand Falls Hut in the Pemigewasset Wilderness. Incredible forest vistas, streams, ponds and the Zealand Falls at the end.”

“Sophisticated steakhouse in the Omni Mount Washington Resort offering classic, seasonal meals. Seasonal ingredients inspire a menu of classic steakhouse fare like shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad and of course, various cuts of beef (filet mignon, New York strip, rib-eye) at this stylish dining room in the Omni Mount Washington Resort. The comfortable surrounds feature plush booths, a fireplace and mountain views.”

“Excellent service, view and the food was fabulous! We split the mushroom starter, a ceasar salad, lobster ravioli and baked alaska. Sooo good! On pricier fancy side.”

“As far as on-the-mountain places go, this one is great. Lots of seating and great table service, plus some seats at the bar. Good menu choices for a lunch or snack break during skiing. Adult beverages available, hot chocolate, coffee, etc. We tried the chili in a bread bowl and a brie and apple panini - both tasted great. To give you an idea for prices, two coffees, a bread bowl of chili and a panini were $34 plus tip. Also, it's a great ski in ski out location with different types of trails available right from the restaurant. Amazing view from an underutilized deck. Food is standard rate. There is a separate bar section for a drink or to watch the game. ”

“t’s a wonderfully kept secret. Every meal is amazing and truly a wonderful experience. Every meal was accompanied by a complimentary sampling from the chef. At breakfast we had a small strawberry smoothie from the chef and for desert we had a coconut macaroon all as an unexpected treat. The wine menu is also vast and they tell you what wines to pair with your dish for those not as well versed a wine expert. ”
