David provides a unique experience in the Green Mountains of Vermont. In a back to nature complex that was the former home to a hippie commune, he provides a warm and comfortable room on the second floor. I am a photographer, and found inspiration right outside his door during the fall foliage season. I was simply looking for a warm place for the night, but captured many images outside, including an old bus that can only be described as a work of art. A true adventure a short distance off Vermont's legendary route 100.

Room was as described with the comfy bed running lengthwise across the room pictured underneath the two windows on the floor. David was very accommodating with a late check-in (~8pm) and early check-out (~7am) and was welcoming when I arrived. AWD is definitely recommended getting to the home as it's not on paved roads with some steep spots, but that's sort of generic recommendation for any room/inn around Sugarbush anyway. He's got a microwave and refrigerator for basic food needs, but no stove or anything as indicated in the listing. I'd definitely recommend this room in a pretty interesting looking community.

I needed a night to crash since the airbnb rental I was staying at for the weekend was booked Sunday afternoon, and I needed a place for Sunday night. Lo and behold, comes David! David, is a wonderful person, very warm, friendly and gregarious! A wonderful conversationalist. I was generally satisfied with my stay and am mostly flexible with the accommodations. The place was generally clean and dust-free, but was largely cluttered. For those considering staying here, please read the description carefully as well as the directions he sends you. This place is a bit remote, but very scenic. Having an SUV in the winter is more than highly recommended. The area can get icy/muddy depending on the weather, and located off a steep road. Please also be aware, that when David says mattress, it means...just a mattress. A very comfortable mattress set inside a small room lined with books. I was largely comfortable and was provided with amenities such as clean linens and toiletries, which was very nice. This is a truly an artist's budget getaway, with humble but charming character.

It's very close to Sugarbush (5 min), making it a very convenient location for skiers and snowboarders alike. She thought of all of the "little things" that make a big difference when you're not at home - tea, body wash, shampoo, first aid kit, and more! There's a helpful guest book with restaurant and grocery store recommendations as well. There are heaters in every room to keep the condo at a comfortable temperature. The wifi connection is inconsistent and the bed is soft (we have a firm mattress at home), but these are small issues that didn't bear significantly on our experience. I'd definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in the Waitsfield/Warren area!

The neighborhood is in the most ideal location (4 min drive from Sugarbush mountain, 5-10 min drive from a few great restaurants, like the Hyde Away Inn). Cheryl was also very communicative - I never had any questions because she answered them all before I could ask! Overall, I was extremely impressed with Cheryl's home and hope to stay another weekend here soon!

On arrival, I zipped out minutes away for a very late meal on Church Street. Everything is so convenient from Michaela"s place, including the free College Street shuttle to downtown and the waterfront. Staying at Michaela's place has more in store: an impeccably clean home with a private bath, tub and shower, a comfy bed which feels as if you are floating on a cloud, AC and any necessary amenities such brochures, toiletries and roomy closet space. An additional plus is that the property is set off the street, so one has uninterrupted sleep since there is no street noise. Occasional forecasts of rain came and went, so Michaela offered use of the TV and living room space downstairs. But, I was in Burlington where the weather changes every five minutes, so I chose the outdoors. In short, Michaela is helpful yet respectful of one's independence and needs. This Airbnb is a gem. The only regret I have is that my giving such high praise may result in not being able to book a reservation because of the ensuing demand. Good for Michaela. ☺ WK

We really enjoyed being so close to the action, but when it was time to turn in, our room was peaceful and quiet. Only trick was making sure our car was parked on the street during the day, but we didn't have any trouble with it and the street parking is super affordable. Burlington is such an awesome place!

My boyfriend and I stayed in PV's condo for our first visit to Killington. Her place was absolutely perfect; close to all of the restaurants, nightlife and skiing/snowboarding. It was very cozy, private and nothing short of all of the other great reviews I read. Access to the hot tub and indoor pool was a good bonus that we definitely took advantage of. PV was very welcoming, her pastries were amazing and she was very helpful in making recommendations during our stay. Highly recommend this airbnb!

The room itself was very comfortable for 2 people, good heat (with temp control in the room), hot shower, private entrance so plenty of privacy, and PV even leaves a modest breakfast spread with cake, teas, and coffee in the room for your arrival. The hot tub in the community center was a nice touch as well after a full day on the mountain. Would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking to get away to the mountain for a couple days!

In addition to being walking distance from the main lodge, there is also an equipment rental shop downstairs in the condo building, indoor parking with trolleys for bringing your bags in, and a shuttle which takes you down to the lodge base (a 5 minute downhill walk). There are great amenities like hot tub and swimming pool and the showers have excellent water pressure, which can sometimes be hard to find in a hotel or high altitude home. Would definately rent again without hesitation.

There is one restaurant/bar and one deli / market in the building plus it's a 5-10 minute drive to every other place we went in Killington to eat. The apartment is very cozy and comfy and the fire and small patio were great! There is even a filtered water dispenser in the apartment.

Didn't need to contact Jill throughout our stay but she will make herself available to help you out. But let's not forget how ridiculously close this place is to Sugarbush ski resort - 5 minutes away from the Lincoln base area and a 10 minute drive to Mt. Ellen. We didn't go to Mad River Glen, but saw it being close as well. If you're reading this review to learn if this place is worth the insta-book, stop thinking and just do it! Especially if you're planning on skiing/riding into Sugarbush.

I even saw some wildlife: a bear-do you believe it- and some deer were in the back yard eating grass one morning in the early morning fog. Very charming- I would surely stay there again.
