“Fun place to stop, eat, and often times catch a local band! Also, closest store to the cabin if there is one or two necessities you forgot to grab.”

“My Dad loved this place and I wish he was still alive to see how it has expanded out the back with a wonderful outside eating area. This is more than a saloon, and yes families are welcome to enjoy the ambiance (lots of old car plates on the walls) and good burgers. Have some good old fashion fun in a saloon that use to be a auto repair shop - hence the name "lube" room. ”

“This is our HOA's pond. During peak times you may need to check-in, just give our address and name (Eastland). There is plenty of room to play, as well as picnic tables, grills, a changing room, and a swim-out island. Have fun! ”

“Sourgrass and Boards Crossing The Boards Crossing Road from Dorrington leads down to the Sourgrass bridge crossing of the North Fork of the Stanislaus River. Fish and Game regularly plant rainbow trout here. There is a campground and day use area there with restrooms. Fishing in the river is good both up and down stream. The best fishing is in the late summer and early fall when the peak runoff has passed and tantalizing pools begin to appear along the river. The actual Boards Crossing is found by following an unmarked dirt road that leaves the main road about a mile from Dorrington. For a map of the area and camping information, see Sourgrass Campgrounds. ”
