“The absolute best Pad Thai in Bangkok (or the world). A super busy street stall with seating inside where pad thai is prepared at super fast pace, a favorite of the old king (so they say), and a very rewarding delicious local experience. Very affordable”

Buddhist Temple
““This place has amazing views all over Bangkok, lovely temple really enjoyed our visit here. Would recommend going at sunset for an even better view.” --- Tourist's feedback. Wat Saket ‘The temple of the Golden Mount’, which is located outside the old Rattanakosin island area of Bangkok, is one of the city’s oldest temples. The structure of Wat Saket is distinct because of the 80-meter high mountain, called Phu Khao Thong (meaning Golden Mountain), where the temple’s main gilded chedi (or stupa) rests. This ‘mountain’, formed from the debris of a collapsed chedi commissioned to be built by King Rama III, was once the highest point in all of Bangkok. The Golden Mountain is a well-known and much revered landmark in Bangkok. A climb to the top of the mount is a journey of more than 300 steps.”

Nature
“Wat Saket hosts an enormous temple fair during Loy Krathong, usually in November, following an annual Buddha relic worshipping ceremony. During this period, the golden chedi is draped in massive bright-red cloth, and a candlelit procession up to the top marks the opening of the weeklong fun fair.”

“Jae Fai Restaurant benefits from its location next door to Thip Samai Pad Thai Restaurant, but for many experienced street food connoisseurs in Bangkok, this is the real draw card for genuine local Thai food. The rolled crab omelet is famed at Jae Fai. What to Order: crab omelet, served as a large roll filled with fresh, white crab meat. (ไข่เจียวปู) Opening Hours: 17:00 – 01:00 Location: 327 Mahachai Road, Old City (next door to Thip Samai Pad Thai) ”

“Thip Samai is the go to place for good charcoal fired stir fried pad thai and there’s quite a few good restaurants nearby – and since it’s a popular tourist spot – most taxi drivers should know ”

“Wat Saket, popularly known as the Golden Mount or ‘Phu Khao Thong’, is a low hill crowned with a gleaming gold chedi. Within, the 58-metre chedi houses a Buddha relic and welcomes worshippers all year round. The temple also hosts an annual temple fair in November, which lasts a week during Loy Krathong. The temple grounds feature mature trees and typical Buddhist structures such as the main chapel, ordination hall and library. Its origins can be traced back to the Ayutthaya period (1350- 1767 AD) and it underwent major renovations during King Rama I’s reign(1782-1809) ”

“Well known street food that got 1 Michelin Star Food is really good, price is quite hight compare to other street food but main problem is there’s so many people. And no reservation, you need to stand there and wait. Actually I’m not really want to convince you to go but there are many guests who ask about this place. So I just explain here Use MRT blue line headed to Lak song exit at Samyot station and walk 10 mins ”
