“Here you get an upfront close to wildlife and kangaroos experience right at the tavern while having a cold drink after a lovely bush walk. The staff are lovely and friendly which is great. However I personally am not a fan of the food. So for the WILD LIFE, WALK TRAILS and A COLD BEER this place is GREAT! Then I would suggest moving on for a meal :)”

“Situated on one of the highest points in Parkerville, Malmalling Vineyard is a boutique winery and cafe adjacent to John Forrest National Park. The cafe offers a range of platters and a full a la carte menu, designed to compliment the wine list.”

“Either bike or walk about 2km to the west down the RR Reserve trail and you're there!”

“This trail starts in the John Forest National Park, you can drive there and pay for car entry and park at the picnic grounds or for the more adventerous at heart you can find a trail in from the heritage Track ! It is a 15km round loop and it is totally amazing, the wildflowers, waterfalls, bush settings are tranquil . Not for the faint heartened however you need a decent level of fitness for the uphill and down hill terrain ! the photo moment from the ridge takes in the city and from North to south ...on a clear day they say you could see the ocean !!! ”

“On Falls Road is the small but picturesque state reserve of Falls Park, also known as Parkerville Falls, where the creek tumbles over granite boulders and slides down a rockslope during the wet seasons. There is a strategic picnic area on a levelled spot higher up from the water but the terrain is mostly suited to rockhoppers and creek explorers. ”
