“Koh Tarutao In the Phante Malaka Bay on the island's western side is the harbour that acts as its welcome gate.Tourist services, bungalows, restaurants, camp sites, the Tarutao shrine and statue of King Rama V are all located in this area. The smooth white-sand beach runs for about 2 km with rows of pine trees providing shade. Talo Wao Bay lies on the island's eastern side and offers the most stunning views of the sunrise. There is a long bridge where boats tie up, and reconstructions of prison buildings that once their captives here and an historical trail to take you back to the island's past. ”
