“This shopping center is right on the corner where you turn to go to your vacation rental. Lots of places to eat or you can also hang out if you are running early before check in. When you trun off of Poipu Rd to Kiahuna Plantation Dr go to the 2nd driveway and at the end on right is where the restrooms are. ”

“Poʻipū Beach Park is located in the community of Poʻipū on the southern coast of Kauaʻi island in Hawaii. The beach is a park with lifeguards provided by county of Kauaʻi. There are swimming and snorkeling areas, and a surf break over a reef for experienced surfers only. It can get crowded on weekends.”

“Shipwreck Beach is a local favorite for surfing and body surfing. Located in front of the Grand Hyatt Hotel, parking is just beyond the hotels main entrance. Large surf usually pounds the shore and makes for difficult swimming and boogie boarding. Here is also where you can find the start of the Mahaulepu Heritage Trail, a great hike to explore the otherwise inaccessible coastline. Strong shore break can makes this beach a dangerous spot to swim. Best for beachcombing and sunsets.”

“Best hot dogs on the planet “No lie — these hot dogs are good enough on their own to warrant a trip to the island of Kauai. They’re truly Hawaiian style hot dogs, complete with tropical relishes...a surf board for a menu, and the best lemonade you’ve ever had. Careful, if you eat there once, you’ll be eating there for lunch the rest of your visit! — Real Travel Magazine”
