“Historical must see place when visiting Argentina. Very colourful houses and buildings. Lots of shops selling different kinds of low priced souvenirs. “Banchero es un verdadero símbolo de La Boca, que ha recibido a habitúes como Benito Quinquela Martín, Juan de Dios Filiberto, Luis Sandrini y Tita Merello, entre otras personalidades notables. Su decoración interna fue actualizada pero sin perder ese típico estilo barrial tan característico de La Boca. Está empapelada con fotografías de personajes y habitúes, grandes cuadros del Riachuelo, obras del pintor A. Abelleyra Cabral, y una cantidad de diplomas entre los que se destaca uno de la “Republica de la Boca”, de 1934.
