““Don’t you want to be a Pepper too?” There’s a reason Texans love Dr. Pepper. Since 1885, the soda was created, manufactured and sold in Waco, Texas. A young pharmacist at Morrison’s Old Corner Drug Store created the flavor for the soda fountain. It was such a hit, customer after customer ordered a “Waco” special. Tour the museum and you’ll “want to be a Pepper too.””

“Live Music Capital of Waco. Tour busses line the street most weekends with legendary and up and coming artists. Always easy to see the stage and plenty of bars scattered around so the lines are never too long. Check out their calendar on-line for upcoming acts. The food is really good. Try the chicken strips. (the batter has frosted flakes in it)”

“Ok.. the Gut Pack. Don't ask, just get it. True authentic southern BBQ. This is where Chip Gaines has been spotted on many an occasion, and I can't blame him for always coming back for more. DELICIOUS BBQ. They serve until they run out, which does happen! They are closed on Sunday and Monday so plan around that. ”
