“Great busy people-watching vibe. A must for craft beer drinkers and the food is fresh, local and fun. Amazing patio overlooking Main street. Catch a beer, a parmesan haddock dinner, and a live show! They have an amazing live music line up and often have show in one or more of their 3 venues. ***Steph has worked here for 7 years so this review is biased :) Ask for more info! ”

“Upon opening in 2009, TIBS quickly became known for its baked goods -colossal croissants and super-sized scones are just the tip of the homespun iceberg. Neighbours and master roasters, Anchored Coffee, provide the epic brew. There is no shortage of love at TIBS.”

“Halifax's oldest coffee roaster. This family-owned Halifax icon may look a little rough around the edges, but they have consistently supplied the city with some of the best roasted and brewed coffee. An excellent spot to chill (if you can get a seat) or just grab a pound of beans, or a cup of your favourite coffee choice.”

“A great place to visit, well worth the 20 - 25 minute drive to Margaree from Inverness. The bustling roadside café, Dancing Goat Café and Bakery, is a favourite stop along the Cabot Trail for locals and visitors alike. With delicious sweet treats, fresh breads, artisanal sandwiches and soups, and lattes that would rival any top coffee house, the Dancing Goat is a culinary gem tucked in the hills of the Margaree Valley. After lunch be sure to buy a package of Goat Cakes (oatcakes) and a Margaree Valley Fog for the road!”
