  • I went up with 4 friends for a fall weekend getaway. The lake is gorgeous and the place is great, Lynn is wonderful to work with and very helpful if something comes up. The home is clean, tidy, and cozy. All of us loved our stay.

  • Although it was just a short night, we are satisfied with the stay here. Comfort beds, and complete facilities. The Lake view surely worth the price!

  • We stayed only for a day but enjoyed it very much. The house was clean and very comfortable. They gave us complementary kayaks which ended up being the best part of our stay. The lake is just outside and the sunrise is gorgeous. Money and time well spent. Lynne and Lyle were welcoming , peasant and warm. Would definitely come back and recommend for others!

  • Beautiful location right on the water. Everything you need is available. Host is nearby in case of any unlikely problems. Mattress is soft yet firm, we had a great nights sleep. When we are back out in the Black Lake area we will definately look Lynne up again!

This charming 3 bedroom cabin is located on the shores of Black Lake and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. There is a fully furnished kitchen with cozy dining spaces. We provide a gas grill and picnic table for sunny outdoor lunches and sunset dinners.
The shared 40 foot dock allows for easy access to swimming. Our cabin is located 2 miles from the Black Mountain Recreation area which has miles of hiking, ORV, mountain biking and horseback riding trails. Onaway State Park is located only 5 miles away and Ocqueoc Falls (the only falls in lower Michigan) is 15 miles away. Be sure to enjoy evening campfires and watch the night sky light up with stars. We also have a smaller cabin next door (Cozy Nest) that sleeps an additional 4 if you need more space. Feel free to bring your canoe, kayak or fishing boat along. There is a Marina nearby to put your boat in and it can be moored at the cabin. Located a short drive to Cheboygan, Mackinaw City and Rogers City - there is plenty to do and see. Hop a ferry to Mackinac Island, cross the Mighty Mackinaw Bridge to the Upper Penninsula to tour the Taquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Pictured Rock National Lakeshore or the beautiful Les Cheneaux Islands. Visit the Historic Mackinac State Parks or spend an evening at the International Dark Sky Park in Mackinaw City.
  • Lovely family cottage in a beautiful setting. The cottage was exactly as described and was clean and well - stocked with everything we needed. Instructions were clear and we had no problems with the cottage while we were there. The lake has a sandy bottom in front of the cottage and you can walk out forever without it being over your head. Our only disappointment is that we could not leave our jet boat at the dock because the waves were too severe too often, and the lake conditions were too choppy for water skiing or even wakeboarding all week. We trailered the boat to a nearby lake each day instead.

Stonecliffe Cottage offers you all the outdoor pleasures of an Up North get-away in a beachfront setting. Wake to a gorgeous Lake Huron sunrise, and scan the unobstructed horizon as far as the eye can see. Walk the sand beach, swim, watch for Great Lakes freighters, bike the Huron Sunrise Trail, & explore nearby lighthouses. As sunset approaches, hear the loons call & watch the starry night skies come alive with the northern lights. Let the lapping waves lull you to sleep.
Stonecliffe is a storybook stone cottage built on Lake Huron in the 1930s. The 500-square foot interior is as charming as the exterior, with a lodge-like vaulted ceiling, stone fireplace, and expansive windows looking directly out on Lake Huron. Fine rustic and nautical furnishings complete the look. Our 7-day reservation periods run from Saturday to Saturday mid-May through early September. Through the fall, shorter stays are available. KITCHEN: Fully-equipped with gas stove-top, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, pots/pans/mixing bowls, utensils, dishes, and table that seats 4. GREAT ROOM: Stonecliffe's bluff setting and large windows create the interior effect of being on a ship looking out onto the water. The fireplace casts a cozy glow on chilly evenings. The TV picks up local stations. BATHROOM: Unique subway tile and cobblestone shower, toilet, and small sink. MASTER BEDROOM: Pocket door, double bed with rustic headboard, dresser, and nautical mirror. Tall people (~6') be careful of your heads; the ceiling in here is low. BEDROOM #2: Two twin beds, clothing hooks, and large chifferobe. Pocket door and vaulted ceiling.
Stonecliffe Cottage is located approximately seven miles north of Rogers City in a quiet neighborhood near Forty Mile Point. Thirty minute drive to Cheboygan, less than an hour to Mackinaw City and Petoskey. The cottage is on a dead-end street removed from Route 23 road noise.
  • This a really nice little cottage right above the beach. You can see the lake Huron horizon through all the north facing windows. The water in late July was bracing but definitely swimmable and the beach was mostly uninhabited. We saw a couple neighbors and that was it. The cottage has everything you need except wifi and you really don't need wifi. It was very clean and everything worked. The only thing I would say is that the bedroom with the full sized bed (queen-sized?) is pretty small with a low ceiling. I am tall and bumped my head a couple times but it was no problem other than that. I definitely recommend Stonecliff Cottage for people who want a quiet comfortable vacation on a beautiful lake.

  • This was a cute place with a beautiful view of the lake. It was cozy to go in October and sit by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate while listening to the waves roll in! Tina was helpful with any questions that we had and was available for any necessary communication or clarifications. We would definitely go back again!

  • A sweet, "off the beaten path", little cottage. The home was clean and inviting! Bring lots of bottled water unless you have no issues drinking water with a STRONG sulfur smell. The host could not have been more accommodating! I felt like I'd known her for years! Our first trip to Michigan and our first experience with Airbnb. Tina and her cottage will be a hard act to follow!

  • This place is just perfect! There was NO BAD water smell!! The owners fixed it!! This place is right on Lake Huron and is cutely decorated with nice furnishings in a nautical/woodsy theme. Everything is clean and updated. There is a sandy beach and there are rocks in the water so bring water shoes. Birds galore and wonderful crashing waves. 7 minute gorgeous drive to town. Bakeries and shops to enjoy. We will definitely want to visit again.

  • The cottage was amazing, perfect size and the location was perfect on the lake. We went the first full week of August and unfortunately the lake was too cold to swim but we explored the local area, lighthouses, falls and parks! Just be aware if your hoping to swim.

Best of both worlds. Large property, lakefront, in middle of Hammond Bay. Fully modernized cabin set in wooded lot with peaceful trail/meditation respites. Also private deluxe beach gazebo w/dual hammocks, bar with full fridge, TV. Spectacular sandy Lake Huron beachfront. Sunrise & Sunset, bonfires (pending daily regulations), ship viewing. Light changes lake colors throughout the day. Beautiful autumn tree colors. Wonderful location for touring northern Michigan.
Cabin is a 2 story structure with 2 bedrooms, alcove with futon, and full bath upstairs. Cozy living room/well appointed stocked kitchen with half bath in lower level. Garage access in lower level. Great views from the cabin, with full deck upstairs off the bedrooms. Propane heating in cabin. Fireplace is there but not available for use. Large deluxe private beach gazebo close to beach with tiki bar, fridge and beautiful large log dining set. TV/Blue Ray in house and gazebo. No internet.
This is a very small association, and we have several lots but neighbors are close and can hear noise or music. Very quiet which we respect. The Ocqueoc river is close, opens onto the bay, and is great for kayaks and canoes.
  • Our family enjoyed Gail's place very much. The cabin was set up nicely for sleeping and breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were roomy. The kitchen was set up nice and had everything needed for cooking. We spent most of our days outside using the gazebo as our basecamp. What a comfortable enjoyable fun area! The beech was perfect swimming, secluded, and yes you can see both the sunrise and sunset. Sorry Steve I doubted that. Ocqueoc is an awesome place for a true northern Michigan vacation. The store is one mile from there and has most items needed at decent prices. Great pizza too. You can even kayak to the store. There is a drive right in front of the cabin, so extra caution is needed if you have small children. We were thrilled to catch the meteor shower from the fire on the beech and later on the deck from the cabin! There are nice trails for walking or jogging.

    Patrice2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful spot on the sandy shores of Lake Huron. We spent a day just soaking up the sun and another kayaking around. The Ocqueoc River is close by so we paddled that into the bay. The cabin was quiet and secluded, but there is a party store right up the road. The gazebo came in handy as we had one rainy day but it was a perfect spot to listen to the rain and play games. Overall it was a great place to stay.

    Shannon2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our quiet and peaceful stay with our family here on Lake Huron. The cabin was cozy with lovely views of the forest and the lake. The bathrooms and bedrooms were really nice. A magical nature trail with interesting features and a fairy mushroom ring loops around the property, through the pines. The heated gazebo was the best, with the tiki bar, log furniture and funny relaxing hammock chairs! This property is comfortable, quiet and well appointed with a welcoming basket and surprises and extras we had forgotten in our rush to leave town, like puzzles, cards, books, games, etc. The beach was beautiful and very pristine with dramatic waves and wind this time of year. Sunday morning we had a sunny walk on the beach, and a little flock of friendly Snow Buntings (stopping for seeds on the beach while migrating from the Arctic) walked along with us in our footsteps the whole time. We enjoyed the beautiful autumn weather with a visit to the Ocqueoc Falls State Park and a color tour. The owners and caretaker Steve were friendly and available when we had a question. I'm planning to come back next year!

    Mary Jill2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • This if a beautiful spot. If you're looking for a place on the beach to just kick back, this is it. The water is crystal clear and the sunsets are fantastic!

    Georgia2017-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • Gail's place is a perfect lakeside getaway. It has all the amenities needed, and although our stay was only a few days, we had no need to venture away from the cottage as the lake (which was very clean and surprisingly not too cold) and beautiful gazebo provided all the entertainment and comfort our large group needed. The sleeping space in the upstairs of the house was perfect and the adjoining balcony provided yet another place to sit, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. The property managers were extremely welcoming and helpful in answering any questions we had upon arrival.

    Bruno2017-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • If you like Northern Michigan this is a great place to rent. The water was great and the beach was nice. The beach house on this property is really cool and a great spot to hang out. I'm not sure if it was advertised in the listing but there is very little light pollution in the area and the night skies were phenomenal. My family and I will keep this place on our short list for future vacations.

    Jeff2016-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is an excellent place to rent and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a secluded getaway. Make no mistake, it will feel like you're in the middle of nowhere outside of a very beautiful stay. However, Gail (the owner) makes it clear in her posts that this is the case. She openly tells you that its an hour from Mackinaw and as such that's just about the nearest sign of life. There is one mini convenience store/gas station which closes at 8 PM. Otherwise, you will have to hike it a bit to get to even the smallest of towns. With that said, as long as you go into the trip knowing this you'll get a great value. If you're an experienced traveler that uses these sites often you'll notice her initial day rate is rather competitive. When you go to book the place you'll find a cleaning fee that is typically higher than most other similar locations. However, the fee, when added to an affordable day rate simply makes the cost of this place in line with most other places that have the same amenities so it should not be looked at as a true hinderance. In short, you have a comfortable home to stay at on the water. The house itself lacks much of a formal area to relax or hang out in but the bedrooms are fine and the master bedroom is better than the average cabin on the lake stay. Meanwhile, the gazebo that's literally beachfront provides all the "homieness" you'll need and makes up for the lake of a true living or family room in the cabin. It provides a spacious area to relax and enjoy the beach within yards of its doors. At the time we were there the weather wasn't the best. I believe that translated to an oddly swamp like area on the beach which only made for a handful of feet of true beachfront. Still plenty of room to enjoy the water though. I think we came at the wrong time of the year though as there was some pretty heavy bug issues on the sand (including what the host assumed to be and flees) that left a few of us with a number of small bites. Other than that the trip was good and the bugs can't be blamed on the house owner. I'd recommend this stay as a great unplugging destination where you'll be cut off from wifi and cell phone service and just enjoy the outdoors.

    Brad2017-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • The Ocqueoc cabin and gazebo was a gem of a place located right on Lake Huron. The area is quiet with lots of fresh air and amazing views of the water. The property manager Steve was friendly, communicative, and willing to help us once we arrived. A couple of drawbacks were that we felt the cleanliness of the cabin was lacking, and it was not made clear that we needed to bring our own towels with us. Otherwise we very much enjoyed the rest of the property in this prime location.

  • Annette and our visit at Black River Hideaway were both great! Annette was very accommodating and friendly. The cabin was in great condition, was exactly as described, and we had all the amenities we were expecting. The location was quiet and peaceful - despite close neighbors, there was no issue with noise. We would definitely consider staying again if we planned to travel to the Cheboygan area!

  • We had absolutely the best time at this amazing little cottage. The amount of love that Annette puts into hosting was felt consistently throughout our whole trip. In just a short period of time this Cottage became so precious to our family. The location was great, easy to get to trails, to all of the lakes, and a quick trip to Cheboygan. Everything was clean and well kept. It was also so great to have the perks like dishes, towels, washer and dryer etc. We definitely plan on making this a consistent up north stay!

  • The place is cozy, clean, and organized. The fireplace is legit, the fold out couch is actually somewhat comfortable, the microwave is a classic, and the host was extremely helpful. The place was perfect for what we were doing and I plan to rent it again in the future.

  • Annette has put a lot of love into Black River Hideaway! It was quiet and peaceful when we were there. We arrived in the evening and Annette greeted us, showed us the home and how things worked and left us to our vacation. We didn't need anything more from her but she checked in and was available had we needed anything. It was the perfect place for us and our friends to meet and travel to various points we were interested in (Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, Cheboygan, Whitefish Point, Sault Ste. Marie, Soo Locks...) This was a great way to vacation. Thanks Annette!

  • Only stayed for two days but wish it had been longer. When we arrived we were greeted by Annette and walked through the cabin. It instantly took me back to being up north as a kid. The cabins decor gives that great up north feel and the Black River running behind made for a very relaxing retreat. Our whole family had a great time and were asking when we could go back before we even made it home. If you are looking to relax and unwind, look no farther than the Black River Hideaway!!

  • We came to Loraine's cabins and it was perfect for our 3 families with seven children all under 11. The cabins were recently updated, had great décor and the cabins were clean nice and clean. Cabins: The cabins were just the right size for a family of 4 -6 each. 2 of the cabins had a screened in porch that was perfect for a couple of the rainy days that we had and provided a plenty of good breeze from the lake. The only cons of the trip were in the cabins because the beds are just o.k and we had some minor plumbing issues that Loraine took care of right away on a Sunday which was great. Other than that the Cabins were just right for our families. Lake: The location of the cabins on the lake is great. Loraine offers plenty of lake toys for adults as well as for the kids. We used the kayaks and paddle boat almost every day on the lake and the kids loved the beach toys. The lake is great for the kids because the lake is shallow (literaly 1-2 ft deep for about 100yds!) and all sand. If you like lazy rivers, right around the corner is access to a little stream that you can take inner tubes on and float to the lake. Overall the lake was awesome and the kids and adults enjoyed every bit of it. Amenities: Most of the items in the description were great. The only thing that was a concern at first was the A/C's because it was in the description but none of the cabins ended up having them. Loraine assured us that the lake provides plenty of breeze into the cabins at night and she was right. There was no need for A/C's. Again, there were plenty of lake toys that were great and we used them a lot. Outside there are multiple picnic tables for seating along with plenty of beach chairs. If you like to grill there is a gas grill along with a charcoal grill if that's what you like. Last thing that we loved was the all day fires that we had on the beach especially on the cool nights. Loraine offered fire wood for a couple of nights which was great. Overall we had a great time and would recommend these cabins and would come back again. Enjoy and thanks Loraine!

  • We recently stayed at Loraine's cabins. They were equipped with anything you could want and the setting was perfect. Nice relaxing get away.

  • Our family had a great time ! The 3 seperate cabins were great! The water is shallow so it was great for our dogs and kids ! Loraine was very helpful and a great communicator! Would recommend it to anyone traveling with their family . We had a great time !

    Liz2017-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Loraine's cabins were amazing! Clean and super cute. Stocked with everything and then some!! Outside included boats, life jackets and even toys. We had some bad weather and still had an absolute blast here!! Peaceful, beautiful lake.... Highly recommend!! She even thought to have a groundskeeper named Jim come over and check to make sure all was good. He was so kind and we looked forward to his visits! Classy touches everywhere....

  • These three cottages are great for small families that are traveling together. You each get your own space, but can come together when you want to. Having the kayaks, canoes and paddleboat meant we could go out on the lake. The water is *very* shallow even 100 yards from the shore, so parents with small kids or anyone who would appreciate warm water will love it. The hot water is supplied with an on-demand gas-powered boiler, which takes a bit of experimentation to dial in the heat just right, so allow a bit of time for fiddling. The bedrooms are pretty tiny in terms of room around the bed, but the beds are comfortable. The area is really quiet and perfect for just chilling on the lakeshore. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware and dishes. There wasn't any A/C when we were there, but I think the owner intends to add it. Wasn't much of an issue since we loved just leaving the windows and doors open. We did have a plumbing issue in one of the cabins that required a plumber to come out and clean a trap, but the owner dealt with it quickly. Loraine was very friendly and helpful. Overall, we'd recommend to anyone.

    Chris2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • If you have the chance to book this property, I would definitely go for it! We stayed for a week with members of our extended family, and we genuinely had no complaints. Our uncle brought up his boat and we enjoyed swimming, floating, and fishing on the relatively quiet lake. The stars were beautiful at night, and we also enjoyed playing many of the various yard games that Loraine provides. Kayaking and floating down the river were so much fun. The kitchens are fully stocked, the bathrooms are tastefully updated, and Loraine has truly thought of it all as far as home-comforts go. We ate at Lorenzo's up the road (good pizza) and at the Bluffs, which had great drinks, food, and a beautiful view of the lake. We can't wait to go back!

  • Perfect family lake house! 20 minutes from downtown Cheboygan & Ocqueoc Falls (both worth the travel). The house has every amenity you could possibly require (towels, pillows, appliances, etc). Easy to locate & the views are stunning.

  • Our family had a fabulous weekend at Brenda's cottage! It was exactly as described except we were pleasantly pleased to find a gas grill and fire pit (Bring your own wood though). The place is spacious and open with great windows overlooking the lake. We watched several people out ice fishing. Our two adult daughters, their husbands, and 2 young grandchildren all fit comfortably. Communication with Brenda was fabulous.

  • They were very helpful with informing us of cool local spots, and had us set up with a nice, clean home ready for the weekend. I enjoyed the secluded aspect of this place and would come back. The brochures presented on the table were helpful, and on a side note, we got to see our fair share of stars, deer, and turkeys! It was also nice seeing a rose on the table with a little personalized note.

  • The house was perfect for what I needed and very comfortable. It rained most of the time I was up there but it was still a beautiful place. It's good to know - however - that it is back on a dirt road a ways. If you've got a car that you're scared might fall apart when you hit a pot hole, make sure the weather is sunny and nice for your trip. Other than that, there's not a thing I can call out as an issue. The neighbor was very nice and friendly and Clayton was extremely responsive and helpful with issues.

    Annette2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I had a great time in this place. Clayton is a very discrete and helpful owner, he gave us directions to the house and made sure we avoided back roads the first time we got there. After that he pretty much let us be while staying available for every questions or concern. The house is located in the woods and is ideal for those who want to take a break from the noise of the city, be in contact with nature and observe wild life. The closest grocery store is half an hour away from the house so I would definitely recommend some planning before getting there, specially if you plan to arrive in the evening. Clayton recommended a place in Atlanta called Freddies to buy groceries before our arrival, as well as a few other places to eat in case we wanted to stop for food. Overall experience was positive!

  • The home was clean and in a great location. The hosts were very helpful.

  • This place was awesome. Loved the remote location. The mixed nuts on the table were good. We brought movies to watch, but they had a good variety to choose from also. Thanks so much!

Enjoy our lovely and cozy home nestled in the fragrant Northern Michigan pines, in Rogers City, Michigan. The house was built in the 1950's, and it has been recently renovated with stylish modern touches. There is a downstairs bedroom and a large upstairs sleeping loft, and the house can comfortably accommodate six guests. The Hideaway is located a half-block away from the beautiful sandy beaches of Lake Huron and directly across from Hoeft State Park. Explore miles of public trails. Enjoy!
  • What an amazing experience! Monica and her husband were gracious hosts. The house was immaculately clean and so adorable. All the little personal touches and amenities were much appreciated. We felt right at home. The house is set in a great location...just steps away from Lake Huron and Hoeft State Park. My family also ventured to nearby Ocqueoc Falls, which is the largest waterfall in the Lower Peninsula. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to Rogers City/Alpena area.

  • The stay at the Lake Huron Hideaway couldn't have been made any easier or more relaxing. Monica was very responsive to my questions and alerted me to the start of hunting season the weekend of our stay. The home itself was spotless and more than comfortable for the 3 of us who stayed. It was so well equipped with games, grill and music that we barely felt the need to leave for our weekend. Reception is definitely near non-existent in the house, but we knew that beforehand. In the end, it didn't really make much of difference given how comfortable we were in the Hideaway!

  • We loved our stay here ! Great place for a family or private getaway !

    Megan2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Monica's place. Roger's City is a quiet corner of Michigan, and the house is located north of town. There is no wifi, and little to no cell service inside the house. (We walked up the road to get a signal.) There are neighbors, but the trees around the house and the fenced-in back yard, make it feel very private. Across the road in front of the house is a state park- it's the side of the park where the campground is. We could hear the campers a bit from the front yard, but not inside the house. It's a very easy walk to the beach from the house. We also drove to the public beach about 3 minutes away, for a slightly wider, sandier beach. The house is well-supplied- Monica provides tons of nice towels, beach towels and sand buckets (& a wagon to take to the beach) tons of books and games, tools for the grill & fire pit. And there were treats for us when we arrived. We really enjoyed our quiet and relaxing get-away!

    Elizabeth2017-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Monica was really quick to get back with me each time we communicated and she made everything super easy. The place was really clean; it definitely has an old-school cottage feeling but has really fresh, updated, creative decor. I was so happy to see two big bunches of fresh flowers in the house upon arrival! We loved the ping pong table, and there was a great book, movie, and vinyl record selection. The house is situated on a bit of a hill with the state park across the street and other houses nearby; you can see Lake Huron from some of the windows. The back yard was lovely -- a great place to hang out and relax. The beach is just steps away. If you want a quiet, tech-free retreat (cell service is poor and no TV reception), this is a great place. It was a great fit for my family.

    Jennifer2016-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Monica's country home was perfect for our family of 4 + a dog. The house was filled with little touches that really made our stay great (record player, ping pong table, fire pit, great kitchen and bathroom amenities). Monica was prompt to respond and checking in and out was a breeze! As others have mentioned there's no wifi or much cell reception - making for great bonding time!

    Cheryl2017-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place was wonderful and so relaxing. I booked it for a quiet getaway for my husband and me. Monica was responsive through the whole process and a great host. The house was incredibly clean and well appointed and outfitted. From the pictures, I thought it was very secluded (no neighbors) but there are houses on both sides and behind it, but it's still quite and would not prevent me from coming back. I'm looking forward to booking this place again soon!

    Elizabeth2016-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place with nice touches. Our family of 4 was more than comfortable. The park is nice and you're steps from the lake! A gem!

Rogers City is great for walking, watching freighters and even hunting Petoskey stones and it's an easy drive to Alpena, Cheboygen, Mackinac and family in Posen. Great communication and a lovely spot - not to mention a good deal!

  • We loved our stay in Rogers City! The house was homey, clean, and the entertainment system was a huge plus! Large picture window in the family room offered great views of the sunrise over the lake and Lakeside Park was essentially right in the back yard! Our host was very timely in answering all our questions as well! If you're planning on exploring the mitten, I highly recommend staying here! Centrally located amongst several historic lighthouses and parks and just a short drive from the Island!

This Cabin is nestled in the Mackinaw Straits, and sits on the High Banks of Cheboygan, overlooking Lake Huron. It is ideal for families or small groups. The cabin is just east of Cheboygan State Park, and is close to many of Northern Michigans natural wonders!

  • The contact with Nicholas before and during the stay was excellent. We had clear instructions about the house and amenities. Nicholas left many brochures for different attractions in the area. Some of my kids did get cellphone service at the house (Verizon with an iPhone). I had to go upstairs or up on the main road to get service (Verizon with Samsung phone). The river and dock area at the house are nice. Great fire pit near the house. The Mullet Lake Marina does actually rent boats (they need to update their website so that it has current information, contact them early so you can get a boat scheduled).
