Restaurant
“This is one of our favorite places to eat and drink. Great beers on taps (including local ones), and awesome pub food. Best burgers in town. Great fish and chips. And beautiful view from deck with outside seating. This is a 21-and-over place, so no kids. During the summer, it can get busy and the deck fills up. The servers here work hard and are great, but when they are slammed, food can be a bit slower to come out. (A good reason for a second beer!) There is live music many nights, as well as Open-Mike on Wednesday, and karaoke on Thursdays.”

“Denis LOVES noodle soups and sushi, and Denis LOVES, LOVES this place. He says: "I have had noodle soups all over the world, and I promise, the place is AMAZING. All broths made from scratch. Freshest of fresh ingredients. Everything here is great.”

“The Ajax Cafe is an old-time favorite place for locals and visitors. The restaurant is down by the water and across the street from The Wooden Boat School in Hadlock. It's famous for its delicious (locally sourced) food and fun hats. Everyone can adorn their heads with lavish, fun or funky hats. They often have live music as well. ”

Bar
“Great place for a bit more upscale lunch or dinner. The service is always great. Another great place for fish and chips. I usually order the risotto, which is a special of the day, usually with fresh local seafood. They also sell their own spice blends for a great souvenir of your visit to PT>”

“A favorite of locals and visitors. In the Marina. Especially great for breakfast. Can be a bit crowded on weekends, but tables tend to turn quickly. Very authentic. You won't be disappointed.”

“Fabulous coffee house located in the Maritime Center compound. You can sit outside and look at the water if the weather is nice or hang out inside where it's cozy. Staff is friendly and the coffee is yummy! ”

Bäckerei
“We included this here because it's two blocks up the street and gets rave reviews, but we personally haven't eaten there in years because our 4yo wouldn't really fit into the more refined scene. French influenced, not budget friendly, from what we here and remember, very good.”

“Just plain GOOD COFFEE. You will get a taste of Port Townsend culture here. It's a favored hang out for local writers/artisans. The baristas are always friendly, and the quiches/desserts all worth sampling.”

“Another great spot for breakfast, in the boat marina at Hudson Point. Excellent lunch too, but breakfast is the real star. Not open for dinner. ”

“If you love bread and pastries and muffins and cookies, THIS is the place. I love the white Pullman loaf to make French toast. And you've not really had a hot dog until you had one on the hot dog buns they make and sell here. ”

“Where I do my "ordinary" shopping for staples and such. (I do the majority of my food shopping at the Food Co-op, which has a relatively limited supply of frozen foods, cleaning supplies, etc.) The Safeway in town looks (and is) bigger, but the selection at QFC is much better, and it usually a bit quicker to find things and check out. If you need to get some hard liquor, this is the place to go also. Wide-ranging selection and good prices.”
