Park
“Flott park med fokus på mineraler, vann og skog. Flotte steinskulpturer bearbeidet på plassen. En eldre oppgangssag er også på området. Sag drevet av vannkraft med skovlhjul. Parken er fin for piknik med bord for små og store grupper. Små bekker som barn elsker. Fin spasertur fra hjemmet. Great park with focus on minerals, water and forest. Stone sculptures made on site. An wooden saw also in the area. Saw driven by hydropower from river nearby. The park is nice for picnics with tables for small and large groups. Small streams that children love. Nice walk from home.”

Locality
“In 1658 there was a wedding between Norway’s wealthiest heir, Karen Mowat and a poor but proud Danish nobleman. Karen Mowat and Ludvig Rosenkrantz were given the farm Hatteberg as a wedding present. They built their home here, and called it Rosendal. It was finished in 1665. A guided tour at Baroniet Rosendal is a tour through different epochs. The rooms are influenced by owners over 250 years, and the manor is preserved as a home – the way it was when the last owners left in 1927. Get a boat here, combine it with the Hardangefjorden trip. Fjordcruise to/from Bergen – Rosendal includes an 3 1/2 hour stop in Rosendal. Buy from the tourist infomation near the fish market.”
