  • Valentina and her husband were amazing hosts. This was by far the best experience I have ever had during a stay. The place is beautiful, and full of amenities. Valentina was so quick to respond and communication was extremely easy. They accommodate to the best of their abilities, and always available to help or provide tips.

    Lourdes2018-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Valentina has an amazing place! When we arrived we were immediately wowed by the inside amenities and cleanliness. Every attention to detail is accounted for even a massage chair to decompress after a long day of travel. Outside of the home the views are amazing with nice gardens, birds and more. I can’t wait to go back and visit this mountain retreat.

  • The house was really clean and very well furnished. Peter and Valentina are wonderful hosts. Our two kids 3 and 7 really enjoyed the place and above all the animals. A great moment for us.

  • Me and my family wanted to get away for the summer, and this location was the best decision! Very modern and luxurious space- great view of the mountains, and so many cute animals! Valentina and Peter were so kind to us, and even took us to an outstanding water fall in their jeep. I have two young kids and they had a blast, they did not want to leave when the time came to depart. We will be back for sure!

This lovely 3 bedroom/2 bath cabin has a stunning mountain view. Located in the center of Suches on the corner of Hwy 180 and Glenn Elliot, this cabin is near Two Wheels and in the middle of the national forest. You can relax on the rear deck and wake with your cup of joe as the sun rises above the ridge behind the house. This 3 bedroom 2 bath century old cabin features a sleep number king size bed, newly remodeled bathroom and kitchen and a gas fireplace in the living room.
What this cabin is: A very old cabin originally built in the 1930's with a stunning 180 degree view of the mountain range behind it. Here you can wake in the morning and drink your cup of coffee while relaxing on the rear deck in the spring and summer, and take in the sunrise. In the winter the gas fireplace heater will quickly warm the cabin and the same view can be observed from the warmth inside, while you sit at the dining room table. Sheets are high quality and the beds are superior quality, with the king being a sleep number. You’ll have everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms are remodeled and the linens are top notch. Also, this is... A great get away for motorcyclists, cyclists, hikers or families. Hiking: * 4 miles to Winfield Scott - Slaughter Creek Trail to Blood Mountain * 2.9 miles to Appalachian Trail - Woody Gap * 11 miles to Vogel State Park * 12 miles to Helton Creek Falls Paddle Boarding: 11 miles to Vogel State Park Kayaking: 4 miles to Winfield Scot Motorcycles: This cabin sits on the corner of Hwy 60 and Glenn Elliot which places it on The Gauntlet - 133 miles - North Georgia's Favorite Motorcycle Route for 7 years Cyclists - Just like mentioned above the cabin is on Hwy 60 and part of the 6 Gap Century Ride. What this cabin is NOT: A newly built architecturally spacious and perfect cabin. The underside of the house is not supported with lumber, instead the 1930 constructors used tree trunks. Substantial and worthy of the load? Most definitely! But not exactly the greatest means to creating a perfectly level floor. We have added new features like a remodeled bathroom and kitchen but we have worked hard to not make it a new cabin, but instead have chosen to enhance its old character. The kitchen is fully equipped and we challenge you to find it lacking in appliances, flatware or dinnerware. If, however, you want new construction with square corners and central heat and air conditioning, please do us both a favor and rent one of the other cabins listed by Suches Vacation Rentals.
  • The cabin is charming and super-well-stocked with everything you might need. The huge back deck has a great view of a mowed meadow & hilltops. As of Aug. 13, there was only 1 working shower, and it had really low water pressure, so you might want to inquire about that before booking. The second shower was under construction, but the entire second bath is in the laundry room, on the opposite side of the cabin from the bedrooms. Otherwise, this is a great location for exploring the mountain region. There's a gas station/convenience store about a mile away that sells basic necessities. You hear some motorcycle traffic during daylight hours, but they're not on the road after dark. The cabin is very comfy with good beds and well:-equipped kitchen and a gas grill and picnic tables on the back deck. I saw deer, groundhogs, rabbits & a raccoon. The a/c was 2 window units. The living room, dining area, main bathroom and master bath stayed cool on warm summer days, but kitchen, half bath and two smaller bedrooms were on the warm side. It was cool enough at night with windows open. A couple areas smelled a bit damp or musty, but I think you would have to be very sensitive for it to bother you. The charm and homey feel give this cabin a very relaxing natural feel, in a pretty setting, with plenty of space between it and neighboring homes/cabins.

  • Great stay. Location was perfect for local outdoor activities

    Justin2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • This house was more functional than we expected, having 3 bedrooms with 3 good sized beds. The view was nice, of a large grassy field area with large hills/mountains beyond. Not knowing the area, we didn’t realize how distant it was from surrounding towns as maps don’t really give an indication of how much climbing you have to do to get in and off the mountain. But we actually found the area to be lovely and because we wanted to be in the country, we really enjoyed the drive. There were many bikers (both cyclists and motorcycles) in the area and so much natural and outdoor fun to be had. The house was very clean and well equipped and the personal touches of the painted rocks by the local students and the jam were such thoughtful touches.

  • Was a wonderful get away. We enjoyed the amazing views and the quietness.

  • be sure you have everything you need. it is about 30 minutes driving in the woods. we though about buying extra food after settling, but we had to stay. it was too far and dark. it was nice, but water pressure was low in the pm and ok in the am. fans and ac were dirty and wasn't too cold.

    Oscar2018-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great little getaway spot--just what we needed after time out on the Appalachian Trail with the kids. Plenty of space for everyone and one of the most well-appointed kitchens I've experienced in vacation rentals. Thanks, Joni!

    Lindsay2018-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location in a high valley with beautiful views on the back porch. The place was as described but it exceeded our expectations. It was perfectly clean with luxurious linens and a very well equipped kitchen. (Note the closest grocery store is over 30 minutes away so bring in all you need) Joni responded to our questions and inquiries promptly and also provided us with a great reference book with lots of suggestions on things to do in the area. We hiked a lot and enjoyed fishing at her recommended trout pond. We traveled with our almost 2 year old and 4 year old and would consider the rental to be fairly family friendly. The fireplace and wall heating unit warmed the place quickly on the cold nights and we noticed the many ac units that would make a very pleasant stay even on hotter days.

Fresh towels and sheets were provided. She provided a binder full of great suggestions for food and fun places around Dahlonega and Helen. We will definitely be back again to stay for an extended weekend!

  • The Cabin is perfect for a couple or small family with one or two kids. The cabin was rustically beautiful, with amazing location to access Appalachian trail hiking, tubing, canoeing, etc. The region of North Georgia is just gorgeous and the cabin is ideal for exploring all of it. The cabin location was easy to find. Everything was very clean, and all amenities were available for a comfortable stay. Joni also left nice touches that makes it apparent how much thought she puts into making sure her guests are comfortable. I’d stay again in a heart beat!

  • This cabin is so peaceful and quiet, the only sounds you hear are from the animals. It has an awesome view and is overall a great place to get away from it all. We love the fireplace and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Also, our host was fantastic and very responsive to anything we needed. We are looking forward to our next trip already!

  • River cabin was relaxing especially on porch overlooking water flowing past. Great space for coffee in morning on glider as well as hanging out with family! Rooms comfortable with everyone sharing one bathroom. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes & cooking pots to make dinner and enjoy it when ready. For technical needs WiFi accessible though may need to reboot router and no cell service. Good time to read, play games , talk or explore the areas hiking trails though definitely check for ticks afterwards. Also - good location to many locations to visit in 75 mile radius in many round about ways of getting there. Definitely follow directions in getting into driveway - it is unique but common in getting to homes. Enjoy!

    Lynanne2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • If you want to get away no phones just some Wi-Fi and nature this is the place

    Chris2018-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • Location could not be more picturesque and beautiful by the river, but the cabin can be difficult to get to especially in inclement weather conditions. Should have brought my fishing pole!

    Tom&Lexi2017-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is for sure the place to come if you need some peace and quiet. I loved the Toccoa right at the front of the house. I couldn’t get enough of just sitting near it or on the covered porch, listening and watching. The cabin is well equipped and has a lot of space, more than enough for me and my pup. Joni’s suggestions for day trips and hikes in the manual is what lead me to Brasstown Bald about an hour away and I swear I’ve never seen anything so beautiful. Toccoa Swinging Bridge is super close and is also magnificent to see. I didn’t have cell reception at the cabin (or other remote places in the forest and mountains), but the WiFi was strong and allowed me to keep in touch via iMessage, email, and other apps. The only thing I regret is not adding on more days to my stay. Definitely would love to go back!

    Joy2018-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • The place is awesome and we would definitely come back.

    Adam2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Ok, so I debated leaving a review just because I don't want to encourage others to rent this place so it will just stay available... lol No, seriously, we cannot say enough about how much we loved this cabin! The location was great! The fishing was great! The cabin was a little older, but just the perfect style for us. Had a nice fire every day. Loved that the wood was provided for us for a small donation. Ate the most amazing homemade strawberry preserves made by Joni. The kitchen was nicely stocked with most everything you will need. The rooms were cozy. Slept so good in the bed, was very comfy! WiFi worked really well, even with a gaming system, tablets and cell phones all connected. Plenty of seating for outdoors. In fact, we loved it so much, we have already booked our next stay in just about 6 weeks from now. You can't go wrong with this cabin. I am even more excited to know we are headed here for this trip than I was for the last one now that I know what I am headed to!!

    Kim2018-04-03T00:00:00Z

  • Pictures do not do this cabin justice. The cabin is bigger than you think, and the views are amazing - and you can see them from every point in the house! We had everything we needed and more - the cabin is fully stocked and everything is clearly labeled and easy to find. We had a great time and had no worries in the world. We'll definitely be back!

  • Truly a great place to rest and relax! The cabin is beautiful and has multiple decks that you can choose from/ move between.

    Trisha2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was a home away from home. Cozy, quaint, great views from every room, a fireplace that every mountain cabin needs; and porches off the master bedroom, upstairs bedroom and den. Perfect for us. It is traditional with wood walls, floors and cabinets. The host has your basics in case you have forgotten them. So helpful when your this far off the beaten path. Joni left us snacks, which was really nice :) If your looking for a traditional mountain cabin, this one has it all except for a hot tub (which was not a deal breaker for us and not sure if that fits into the 'traditional' category). We were very happy with our rental. Thank you for making this sweet cabin available! One note: the walkway is not handicap accessible, so elderly renters: the parking area is somewhat steep getting in and out of the vehicle. We would definitely stay again.

    John2018-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • A tidy cottage nestled in the hills of the Chattahoochee forest; the cabin is very cozy and just secluded enough. Owners are very thoughtful and hospitable, they keep a neat cabin with all the necessities. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back to the smoky foothills of North Georgia!

  • The cabin is very secluded and a great place to get away from everything and unwind and relax. It brings everything you need and makes you feel right at home. The views are spectacular! Abbie's Waterfall Treehouse with its abundance of windows, is nestled on a hillisde near a creek on the Hemlock Farm, where a small passel of animals and the main family reside in a log cabin. Private treehouse with a view of the creek and waterfall; short walk takes you to a private bathroom and dining area. Rear of the property accesses the national forest for hiking in a serene and rarely used portion of the mountains. The treehouse is heated and sealed, so you'll enjoy during all seasons.
Abbie's Waterfall Treehouse is an octagon structure with wrap around windows located just off the creek at Hemlock Farm. You can watch the trickling water from your bed and it is designed to offer you privacy and communion with the family and animals at Hemlock Cottage, as you choose. Located just off the creek, which is a short but private distance from the house, you'll be lulled to sleep by the trickling of the stream and waterfall just outside your window. You'll have access to the treehouse bathroom and dining area, and can use the main kitchen, living room and wrap around (Email hidden by Airbnb) plimentary Breakfast: is served at the main house and includes fresh eggs from the barn, local sausage and fruit. On occasion Joni, the owner will also offer her southern biscuits at the breakfast table. Other menu items can include french toast, steel cut oats and grits from a nearby mill. Coffee and orange juice are provided, too. Glamping - Going camping, but with glamour. A combination of the two words. It's like regular camping , but with nicer things than usual, being warmer, and more comfortable. Glamping isn't done by usual outdoor types who climb mountains. Treehouses are glamping experiences and as such here’s what you can expect: Comfy beds, k cup coffee brewers, heated mattress pads, real furniture and radiator heaters, real furniture - dresser, beds, chairs and electricity. You are welcome to visit the main cabin where we often have a hot fire in the wood stove and hot showers whenever you’d like. The main cabin is a place to take a break from glamping, visit with other guests and the family, and to cook dinner or take a shower. You should probably avoid treehouses if you… 1. Don’t enjoy temps outside the normal range for your home. 2. If you don’t like walking back to the woods to enjoy your treehouse. Although we do have a battery operated cart for you to use to take your bags to the treehouse when you arrive. 3. Don’t want to walk to the main cabin to use a flushing toilet and or take a shower. 4. If the idea that the treehouses are not completely sealed and you may occasionally see a critter trying to move in, although we do try and keep them out, upsets you. If you enjoy the woods, nature, being away from city noise then you may just enjoy a stay in one of our treehouses. Here is what others have said about their glamping experience with us: “If you are looking for a place to escape into the mountains, this is it! The treehouse is situated right above a small (2'-3') waterfall that provides ambient noise and a beautiful view. It is tucked away behind the main house and is about a 3 minute walk. There are motion sensor lights the whole way so getting around after sunset is no problem. The room is spacious with a good bed, dresser, multiple lights, coffee maker (though Joni makes great coffee every morning), fan, and books.” “Welcoming, peaceful and calm. A quiet place with a stream running right outside. Great hospitality.” “Joni’s waterfall treehouse was incredible! It is such a nice getaway in the middle of a National Forest. It’s such a unique, clean, comfortable place to stay! You have everything you need while being fully immersed in nature. We would definitely love to come back next time we find ourselves in Georgia!” Pets are allowed pending approval. We will approve animals after we exchange a few emails and establish what exactly you are bringing and make sure you clearly understand the pet rules. There is also a $50 pet fee. You'll notice a 6% community fee added to the price of the cabin. This is for union county and state taxes. We proudly pay our taxes in order to support our rural mountain community which relies heavily on tourism.
  • The Treehouse was a great romantic getaway, especially for nature lovers! The breakfast that Joni offered was very good and her family was very open and kind.

  • IF YOU ARE WANTING A TRUE QUIET NATURE FILLED GET A WAY, YOU WILL LOVE THIS TREE HOUSE!!! I LOVED FALLING ASLEEP + WAKEING UP TO THE GURGLING SOUNDS OF THE BROOK THAT FLOWS UNDER THE TREE HOUSE. WE HAD AN AMAZING PEACEFUL WEEKEND.....

  • Joni was super nice to me and was very accommodating. I absolutely loved her place! Nestled in the hills of Northern Georgia, I couldn't have expected anything better than my stay here. How refreshing to get away from my job, emails, the internet, and hear running waters, see dense fog rolling over the hills in the early morning hour, and all of the leaves starting to change colors. Thank you so much, Joni!!

    Glenn2017-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Made a reservation and unfortunately I missed my flight since I was extremely sick. I messaged the host a week before to tell her I missed the flight and would not be able to make it. I also put in a request to have the reservation date moved and never received a response. If I had known I would have just cancelled the reservation and asked for the standard return fee. Joni decided not to respond and not to give me the opportunity to get my refund and still charged me the full amount. Very poor customer service!

  • Great place to come and relax absolutely loved it.

    Alex2017-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Joni’s place is as quiet as you would like or filled with as much conversation and communing as would like: your choice. She goes the extra mile with breakfast. Waking up to the sight and sound of the little waterfall was perfect — only made better by my hubby going to the house and bringing me a fresh cup of coffee. If I had a thousand mornings like that, I would never get bored of them!!

    Lynn2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Joni and her family are extremely welcoming and the treehouse is tastefully decorated and located. Joni is very educated about the area and offers great suggestions for things to do. We really enjoyed our time in Georgia.

Holidays- 3 night minimum stay. CHECK-IN:4:00PM- CHECK-OUT:11:00AM Beautiful spacious cabin in Cooper Creek Wildlife Management Area and right ON Cooper Creek. Close to waterfalls, Toccoa River, the Appalachian Trail, and about 20 miles from Blairsville and the quaint mountain village of Blue Ridge, GA. Also, about 20 miles from Lake Blue Ridge. This cabin has mountain views, and about 200 feet of creek frontage. Cooper Creek is wide, trout-stocked, and always flowing on this property. There are generous decks (covered and open) on three sides of this D-log cabin. The decks are equipped with two lockable gates so that large areas of the contiguous upper deck can be secured. A concrete patio runs the full length of the cabin on the lower level, which has a Ciara XLS ALPS SPA 5 person Hot Tub. There is a gorgeous stone outdoor fireplace on an additional patio that runs perpendicular to the cabin. For those physically fit, a wide, graveled switchback can be used to access the creek area. Please be aware that the switchback is steep; we have equipped it with benches and other resting spots along the way. At the creek area, you will find a picnic table, grill and fire pit. The all wood interior of the cabin (not an inch of sheetrock here!) has 2 bedrooms, a sleeping loft and two large bathrooms. Each bathroom has double-sinked vanities. It comfortably sleeps 6. (One king bed, 1 queen bed and 1 double size futon in sleeping loft.) Washer and Dryer available upon request. The cabin is decorated in a rustic-industrial-contemporary style. Come and visit....you won't want to leave!
  • This place was a dream! So peaceful and serene. It has everything you could ever want in the kitchen, including an espresso machine! Which is heaven for a coffee addict like myself. We couldn’t get enough of being outside and enjoying the views. The outdoor fireplace was amazing at night and oh my the stars! We are definitely planning on returning soon. 4 days just wasn’t enough! Sean is an amazing host!

    Erica2018-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the Rider's cabin was magical; just what my family needed to escape a crazy busy life. The cabin was gorgeous, clean, and such a relaxing pleasure. From the detailed and easy-to-follow instructions for the house, to the personalized welcome sign in the cabin, to the chocolate raspberry mousse, to the insanely comfortable beds, every bit of the experience was wonderful. My daughter lamented our stay was not long enough, and I agree! We can't wait to head back to the cabin.

    Tiffany2014-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great, relaxing weekend. The house has everything you need. We enjoyed the multiple outdoor bonfire locations, especially down by the creek. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend it and could see us going back!

    Jayne2015-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures don't do this cabin justice! My husband and I spent 4 days here for our anniversary and it was very romantic. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck and the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked and the bed was so comfortable. The entire cabin is wonderfully decorated. Sean has thought of everything! The lemon squares and bread knife were a nice touch too. We will come back in the summer with our kids and get more use out of the outdoor living space by the creek. Thanks again for a memorable anniversary.

    mack2016-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second time going to Sean's amazing Cooper Creek Cabin... my travel companions this time were blown away by the beautiful, well thought out setting. We were relaxed and inspired all at the same time. From fishing on the creek to hiking the nearby trails to cooking an early Thanksgiving meal... we enjoyed every second and Sean provides everything you need for an excellent getaway in a pleasantly remote part of Georgia. We're especially appreciative of his thoughtfulness :)

    Rebecca2015-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was incredible and Sean was so thoughtful. He left lemon bars and a hand made bread knife we could take home as a souvenir. Every little detail was absolutely perfect. Their are plenty of games to play and places to explore. The kitchen was stocked so you could make anything and there were plenty of wine glasses and bar tools. We loved the jacuzzi and the view. We also hung out down by the stream for a bit. We will certainly be back. :)

    Vanessa2015-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Sean has such an amazingly beautiful cabin! Flawless inside and out. We couldn't partake in all of the beauties within and without due to time constraints and rainy weather, but I can't wait to return for another escape! Sean was extremely helpful and communicative from the moment my reservation was finalized until the end of my stay. I can't have asked for a better experience!

    Zanetta2013-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully furnished with everything you need for a wonderful mountain getaway. A short but steep hike to the creek offers excellent opportunities for fishing and communing with nature. (Caught a huge rainbow trout fly fishing!) beautiful sunrises and moonrise’s from the hot tub and fun excursions to the fish hatchery and swinging bridge rounded out this excellent family getaway!

Romantic and private mountain cabin located just north of historic Dahlonega, on Cane Creek with 25 ft high waterfall, great room w/ massive stone fireplace, screened porch w/ rocking chairs overlooking creek, flagstone terrace within 10 ft of creek and flagstone walkway around cabin, 1950s kitchen with antique side board sink, refrigerator, electric stove, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, 1950s bathroom fixtures including porcelain tub/shower with lots of gas hot water, 90% efficient quiet gas furnace, easy unloading-park 15 ft to front door, located inside a gated facility staffed 24/7, just relax and sit by the fire or take a walk along the scenic mountain trails or take the "Georgia Wine Trail" to the many wineries nearby or enjoy a play or movie at the historic Holly Theater. Dahlonega was the site of the first gold rush in America in 1828 and is the home of North Georgia College and State University. The waterfall is about 200 ft downstream from the cabin. Between the front of the cabin and the falls there is a grassy area that great for bad-mitten or touch football. Then there is a small gravel parking area for the cabins that are across the creek. If you continue walking straight ahead there is a boardwalk to an observation platform at the top of the falls and wooden stairs up to the roadway above. You can walk along the roadway down to the bottom of the falls. The roadway is the easy walk to the bottom of the falls. There is also a foot bridge going across the creek just above the falls and another footbridge across the creek below the falls. I'm not sure if the upper trail across the creek that leads to the other side of the top of the falls has been improved and repaired to allow access to an old timber stairway leading from the top of the falls to bottom. If the stairway is open then you can circle the falls, down one side and up the other. The best wading is just below the falls where you will find a pool of water and the creek has a rocky bottom for rock skipping and easy wading (river shoes or old tennis shoes are nice). Swimming is not allowed in the pool of water at the base of the falls for safety reasons (powerful hydraulics at the base of the falls). At dusk when the kids were young we liked to make "bark boats" out of 6" to 8" pieces of pine bark with lighted birthday candles mounted on top to see who can keep their bark boat lighted the farthest downstream. When the summer campers are out we just give them their space so that we don't disturb their organized activity. The councilors and kids are very friendly. We haven't been horseback riding in years, but I did find some places nearby that have horses to ride. There are two large cast iron bells at the front entrance used as planters for ivy. These bells used to be in front of my great grandfather's home, "Two Bells", in Dahlonega where he owned a general store in the late 1800's. The home was named after his daughter Isabelle (Belle for short) and his granddaughter also named Isabelle. I have been told that one of the bells rang when the civil war ended and the other rang when North Georgia college was founded in 1873. He had the honor of representing the citizens of Dahlonega in the U.S. House of Representatives and secured the U.S. Mint Building in Dahlonega for use as the North Georgia Agricultural College, now know as North Georgia College and State University. He headed up the governing board of the college for over 30 years until his death in 1908. When my great grandfather died my grandfather's family along with my dad moved to Atlanta, and in 1951 my dad and his 3 sisters and brother decided to build this cabin next to Cane Creek so that they could visit their old hometown and discover their roots.
Our family cabin is surrounded by hundreds of wooded acres that follow along Cane Creeek (including the falls) that are cared for by Camp Glisson, a double gated summer camp and meeting facility. Our cabin is situated just above Cane Creek Falls with vehicle access right to the front terrace for easy unloading, There are a few cabins across the creek that are accessible by a foot bridge and path that winds along the creek.
  • I rented Hal's cabin for a couple nights to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The cabin was perfect for our desires to just unwind and reconnect. We loved all the antiques, especially the beautiful paintings, throughout the home. The space encourages relaxation and connection with family. The kitchen is super cute, and it had all the tools we needed to prepare all our meals during our stay. Everything about the property surrounding the home was beautiful as well. We enjoyed hiking, fishing, and swimming. The dogs had a blast as well. Thanks Hal for all the detailed and quick communmication. We appreciate everything. Loved our stay.

  • This is a hidden gem! If you are drawn to waterfalls and the sound of the creek, the screened in porch is where you will be in evenings. The kitchen is delightful in its old southern charm and functional. The living room is perfect for family gatherings in all seasons. Loved the stone fireplace! If you enjoy walking, hiking around the falls is beautiful. We can't wait to come back.

  • We really lived the secluded cabin in Dahlonega! Great place, clean, cozy and comfortable. Secluded, with a beautiful waterfall just a few hundred yards from the front door. Highly recommended!

  • Serene in deep woods. You can hear the waterfall from the back deck. A bed on the screened deck for napping in the woods. Decorated in "vintage" to add to the charm. All pine interior (even ceilings) so it has that "cabin smell." About a mile from the charming downtown Dahlonega with shops and eateries. Off the beaten path but not far from all the goodies.

    Carol2017-07-05T00:00:00Z

Come away for rest and renewal in the North GA mountains. This serene and beautiful property in Suches is on the Toccoa River nestled in the Chattahoochee NF. In addition to being surrounded by opportunities to enjoy nature, other amenities include: hot tub, fireplace and fire pits, screened porch, full kitchen, WiFi, HD TVs, Roku, Xbox 360 w/ Kinect, YouTube TV, laundry, paved road to cabin, family-friendly grounds, telephone, gas and charcoal grills, Adirondack chairs, and even a fishing pole!
This warm and rustic cabin / townhome is nestled in the gorgeous Chattahoochee National Forest. Easy to get here without needing 4WD/AWD since it is conveniently located off Highway 60. The sparkling Toccoa River is located just a few steps away and offers excellent fishing right on the property with 1,000 feet of river frontage. The 11-acre grounds around the home are well-maintained and very kid-friendly. Whether you plan to spend your days and nights inside or outside, this cabin provides abundant opportunities to rest, reconnect, and explore.   We just bought this beautiful townhome in late September 2018 and are excited to be able to share it with others. There is so much we love about this place:   Surrounded by nature, you are minutes away from numerous areas to hike, canoe, tube, fish, hunt, and adventure. In addition, the fun Toccoa River Swinging Bridge is just down the road, and a little farther is Serenberry Vineyards. You are also centrally located right off a major country highway between some of the best towns in North Georgia, including Blue Ridge, Blairsville, and Dahlonega, each only 30 minutes away. Burt's Pumpkin Farm, numerous apple orchards, Fausett Sunflower Farm, Gibbs Gardens, and Helen, GA are only about an hour away.   Continue enjoying the outdoors in the evenings by relaxing on the porch in a rocking or Adirondack chair, or soaking in the spa hot tub. There are several fire pits located on the property including down by the river.     Entertainment: 55" High Definition TV , Netflix, YouTube TV, Wifi, DVD's, Roku, Xbox 360 with Kinect and a couple of games. Or if you are looking to unplug, grab a cozy throw blanket and settle on the leather couch in front of the fire place with a glass of wine and a good book, magazine or board/card game.   Kitchen: full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and electric stove and oven. We have included many of the things that we find valuable in a home kitchen. We also have tried to provide the basic essentials for cooking: oil, spices, paper towels, aluminum foil, dish soap, etc.   We also provide both a charcoal grill and a gas grill.   Bed/bath: 2 bedrooms with queen beds and another daybed with trundle in the loft comfortably sleep 6. An HD TV with Roku is located in the upstairs bedroom. We provide linens, bath towels, laundry detergent, starter soap, shampoo, tissues, and toilet paper. You may even have enough for your entire stay!   One final reason we love this place is how family friendly it is: the property includes gentle slopes and grassy lawns great for letting children run around safely. Having small children ourselves, we have provided amenities to make it easy to get away with children: a pack-n-play, safety gates, baby/toddler seat, and kid's dishes and utensils.
This cabin is remote and truly in the mountains, there will be limited cell service unless you are closer to one of the surrounding towns. You can connect to the WiFi (including WiFi calling) once in the cabin. Please print out your directions as the GPS signal is limited in the mountains. Our cabin is conveniently located close to several popular North GA mountain towns: Blairsville - 30 min Blue Ridge - 30 min Dahlonega - 45 min Blairsville is the closest for groceries (Wal-Mart or Ingles). Turn left leaving the cabin onto Hwy 60, follow this road until you come to Skeenah Gap Rd where you turn right. When this road dead ends turn right on old hwy 76, this takes you directly into Blairsville. Best way to Blue Ridge, the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant, tubing/kayaking the river or really good fishing: Turn left on Hwy 60 when leaving the cabin, when you see the 20 mph flashing light slow down as you will make your next left on Dial Rd. You will drive a few miles and pass an old bridge on your left, within a few hundred yards you will turn left on Newport Rd. Stay on this road until you come to Aska Rd and you will turn right, this will lead you directly into Blue Ridge. The historic area will be on your left after you drive thru the town. There is an Ingles, Wal-Mart, and Food Lion in Blue Ridge. To get to Ellijay follow the directions above, once you turn left onto Newport Rd stay on this road until you come to Double Gap Rd where you will turn and stay on this road several miles until you reach Hwy 52. Then cross over Hwy 515 making a left which brings you into Ellijay.
  • Chris & Anslee were great host. Their cabin is beautiful and provided great amenities and was sparkling clean. The location is great. Far enough out in the country to enjoy the peace and quiet but a close enough drive to nice restaurants (20ish minutes) in Blue Ridge.

    Rhonda2018-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was clean and cozy! Intentionally full of kid friendly items and games! For the price, especially, our expectations were exceeded! The surrounding property was beautiful, the hot tub was relaxing and we enjoyed the fireplace! Helen was a nice little day trip! Relaxing times!

  • This is the perfect place to relax and revive your body and mind. Quite, fishing, walking trails and only 30 minutes from Blue Ridge, GA. We had the best time for my birthday weekend. This comfy cozy cabin exceeded my expectations and will most definitely return.

  • Chris and Anslee are awesome! I love the location, all the amenities, and the small and large details that have been thought of. Plenty of space. Great hiking nearby and towns to enjoy. Comfortable to stay inside on a cold or rainy day. Short walk to sit next to the river or short drive to enjoy the many trail systems in the area. Enjoy!

Pick up your groceries on the way to the cabin and you wont want to leave. You can hike into the national forest from the property or visit the waterfall less than a mile away. Nature lover's paradise! Near the national forest! Unplug and reconnect with your family. Well appointed cabin in the Toccoa River Valley just west of Suches, known as the valley above the clouds. Heme to Red shouldered hawks, humming birds deer, and other wildlife photographed. Pets welcome but there is a fee.
  • Great place to get away. Very private.

  • Cozy cabin tucked away in the woods. Very remote and quiet — about a 45 minute drive from most falls and parks in the area. We brought our kids’ scooters along and they enjoyed riding them back and forth on the large deck outside. I’d suggest bringing some Dramamine for the windy roads if you are prone to car sickness. While there we visited Dick’s Creek Falls, Gooch Falls, Consolidated Gold Mine, and the Toccoa Wilderness Tubing. I’d highly suggest Dick’s Creek Falls and tubing on the Toccoa!

    Anthony2018-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Nice cabin with a great location secluded on a dirt road fully surrounded by woods closely accessible to the National Forest, Blue Ridge and Coopers Creek WMA. Perfect for those looking to hike part of the AT or Benton McKay, trout fishing and Enduro M/C riding which is what we do.

    Ric2017-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • What a sweet get-away. Loved it! So close to Lake Winfield Scott, best kept secret spot for families in North Georgia.

    Lisa2017-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • A great cabin for a family getaway! Very clean and well stocked. We loved how remote the cabin was- saw plenty of deer, wild turkeys, and even heard a pack of coyotes (I think that's what they were) one night. Highly recommend this cabin.

    Lisa2017-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean except they charge for firewood. Plus cell phone service is bad. Plus no wifi when it rains

  • This cabin is a hidden gem, at a steal of a price!!! I loved every second of our stay, and cannot wait to return!! This is one of the most stunning places I've ever had the pleasure of staying, and loved the peaceful seclusion of the mountains. I loved passing by the farms, cows, and verdant pastures on the way to the narrow, gravel pathway that leads up to the cabin. My SUV climbed up effortlessly, but my fiance's Kia sedan had trouble, so I recommend driving up with 4wd/Awd. We took a nice walk along that beautiful untouched road, and were able to immerse ourselves completely in our forest surroundings. Location is key, and if you're looking for a romantic getaway, or a place to unplug for a long weekend, this is it!!!!! Trust me, you won't want to leave!! Cell reception is spotty, but there is reliable internet, so you're still somewhat connected. We were even able to bring our pets, a 30lb English Cocker Spaniel, and a black cat, which was a huge plus!! They loved it too!! The 3 cozy and spacious bedrooms are equipped with closets, extra blankets, very comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. I plan on bringing my dad and my sisters back next time! The 3/4 wrap around deck is to die for: one side is covered, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, or meals any time of the day, with a grill and large table; the other side leads to the wooden stairs & opens to the fire pit area. The upstairs bathroom is enormous and I wish we spent more time up there! With just 2 of us, we barely went upstairs, and slept downstairs in the bedroom connecting to the bathroom. Unfortunately, we encountered an issue with the hot water breaker, and were unable to fill the jacuzzi tub, but that's an excuse to come back again!!

    Kristina2017-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Suches, GA is a secluded, hidden gem of a town in the mountains of North Georgia that I had never heard of. If you like a peaceful atmosphere with nothing to do but fish, hike to waterfalls and swinging bridges, kayak, enjoy wildlife, talk to locals, and take photographs, this is the town for you! The house was affordable, adorable, comfortable, spacious, and well stocked. Joni communicated with us, gave good directions, and made sure we had all the info we needed for a pleasant stay. I'm ready to go back!

Located on the edge of a beautiful gap in the mountains this condo cabin, featuring 2 master bedrooms and a loft with 2 twins, has a mountain ridge view, and is in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Great get away for those who enjoy hiking, cycling, kayaking, and fishing. Perfect for two couples or a family with children. While in the forest it has quick access to both, Blue Ridge and Blairsville. Nearby sites - Toccoa Swining Bridge, Aska Trails and Waterfall, and Sea Creek Waterfall.
  • We really enjoyed our stay here. We brought our Aussie along with us and really enjoyed splashing around in the river on the property. The screened in porch was probably our favorite place to spend time. Know that it's kind of a duplex type setting! Each cabin shares a wall with the one next to it. I guess we didn't read the information fully because we thought our cabin stood alone. But it was still an enjoyable experience (: Thanks Joni!

  • Great location, super comfortable house. Felt right at home.

    Jon2018-10-26T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin offers spectacular views and an amazing location. We really enjoyed sitting on the screened porch, there are rocking chairs, a swing, and a table and chairs where we had a brilliant views of the mountains. The cabin is very comfortable with room for the whole family. We loved the kitchen island, loft space, and hard wood floors. One of our favorite activities was s’mores by the river after dinner. The location was perfect because we were a short drive to many hiking and fishing spots, as well as different towns. We definitely plan on staying here again!

    Whitney2018-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cabin with plenty of room for a large family (2 master bedrooms along with 2 twin beds in the loft). The views were spectacular and it was just a short walk to the Toccoa River where you can fish or just sit back a relax at one of the 3 fire pits, located near the river bank. It is also just a short drive to the Appalachian Trail along with the Toccoa River Swing Bridge (the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi at 260’). I’ll definitely be returning and I would highly recommend that you stay here. Especially if you are planning on going anywhere in the Blue Ridge, Blairsville or Dahlonega areas, as it is centrally located in the middle of all three.

Double attached garage for keeping your car and toys under cover. Minutes from the AT, State parks and we boarder the Chattahoochee National Forest. Black Mountain Trout ponds are just down the road, great anytime!
This is our second home. So, you will see personal items of ours that make it home. There is so much to do while in Suches, that we want to share the fun with others when we aren't there. This is not a fancy mountain cabin, it is a plain ranch style home that we are currently updating. You will notice things like, the chair my husband bought for his Mom (who had lived there since it was built) has been loved on by a couple pets. It has a lot of yard to play in that is bordered by Kennedy Creek, with a beautiful view of Abercrombie Mountain.
  • Beautiful property, beautiful area! We had a fantastic experience! This place far exceed our expectations and we can't wait to plan a trip back here!

Cute, newly remodeled cabin in the North Georgia mountains on Frogtown Creek. Queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 twins in the 2nd bedroom, and a sleeping loft with daybed. 2 Outdoor decks overlooking large rushing creek, fire pit for smores, and swing by the creek. There is a walking path along creek that leads to swimming hole with rope swing. You can fish for trout or swim. Close to Helen, Unicoi State Park,Anna Ruby Falls, Babyland General Hospital (home of cabbage patch kids).
Our cabin is very cute, small and secluded. It’s close to many different wineries and hiking trails. Many state parks and recreational areas nearby. The driveway is steep and there are many steps down to the cabin and creek but the view of the creek from the porch is well worth it.
The cabin is located off the state highway and on a dirt road. Because of its location cell phone service is hit or miss in the cabin. I have Verizon and it works better than wife’s T-Mobile account. Also we have no WiFi or cable. We do have many DVD’s and VHS movies available.
  • Good quiet spot to rest.

    Jennifer2018-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Really cool place! Well stocked and clean. It’s on a steep hill but all the steps are well made. The decking is in great shape and the swing next to the creek was awesome. Trout in the creek too! Helen was a really cool town to visit. Don’t go the main route to get in. You’ll get stuck in traffic. We found a back way in (Ridge Rd) and there was absolutely no traffic that way.

  • AMAZING view. Hosts are quick to communicate with you. The area is breathtaking. The cabin is very sweet and makes it easy to connect with the people you are with. There is no Wi-Fi but AMAZING scenery. I recommend this trip to people looking to get away from modern distractions and want to spend quality time with family.

  • Awesome spot, amazing creek!

    Patrick2018-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect place to relax and disconnect. There's no wifi, our phones and internet did not work but that was not an issue, we went down to the river, played games and watched movies. We would like to stay here again :)

    Patricia2018-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • This tree house is quaint, cozy and so enjoyable! As other reviews have said, there are many stairs both from the road to the house and from the house to the fire pit and creek below. The driveway is steep and a little intimidating. There are many cozy spaces to hangout, both indoors and most especially outdoors. I enjoyed sleeping in the loft and looking out my window at the treetops! The loft is accessible by a wall ladder and rope which is a little tricky. The loft also has a low slanted ceiling; it's the perfect place for sleeping and curling up with a good book if you can climb up into it. This was the perfect little place for a mother daughter adventure weekend with dear friends.

Small cabin in the woods, historical area, 7 miles from Alpine tourist town of Helen,Ga. No cleaning fees. Full kitchen with dining table, queen size bed and loft bed, back deck, small charcoal grill, etc., etc. Very peaceful. No pets, please. 3-4 days advance notice is appreciated. Smoking allowed on back deck. I would offer ''turn key'' entry but it can be complicated getting back into the area, especially if you arrive after dark.
There are eight steps to the loft where the double bed is located.
Historical neighborhood. Main entry to valley was once old road that wagon trains used to cross over mountains to Blairsville. 4 miles to WalMart and shopping. 7 miles to Helen, Ga.
  • Carol's place is a quaint cottage in a very quiet rural setting. Conveniently located to both Helen and Cleveland. There is a Dollar General less than 2 miles from her place to pick up anything you may need. Carol is a very caring lady. We stayed over Christmas and even received a gift from her. There is a TV but no cable, so bring a DVD player and movies if you need that kind of entertainment. We brought my laptop and got by just fine. We would definitely stay again. You can't beat the coziness for the price.

  • Carol was a wonderful host. She was very informative about the area and even left suggestions of things to do and sights to see while there. Little house tucked away in the woods near the mountains about 9 miles north of Cleveland GA. Loved the peace and quiet all around, good place to unwind and relax. Have to go up a long narrow drive to the house. Make sure you have what you need because the only place open late is Walmart in Cleveland.

    Chris2017-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Carol is a sweet, welcoming lady. Her cats are friendly and affectionate. The small cabin provides a great retreat away from civilization to a simpler, peaceful way of life.

  • Carol's cabin is just fantastic. A perfect getaway from city life, it's a short drive in any direction to get to some of the best parks in the US. Carol is a great host and super responsive. Will definitely book again!

  • Carol is an excellent host and the home is exactly as described. Can't beat the price for an entire home. We had a great time in Cleveland and we were only 20 minutes from Helen. Perfect little home for a couple. I took my fiancé here for a little birthday getaway and Carol, the host, met us near the home to direct us to the home and when arrived she showed us the cake she had baked for my lady's birthday! That was very kind. Carol rocks! And the quaint little house was exactly as described!

Our Sunrise Eco Cabin is an 8' x 20' shipping container that was renovated into a tiny home. It has a full bed, bathroom with shower and hotel-style kitchenette with coffee pot, microwave and mini-fridge. Sliding glass doors allow natural light to flood the space and the front porch gives a great yet private view. Relax on the deck and watch the sun as it rises over the Appalachian Mountains. Guests must be able to walk up a small hill to access the cabin.
The Sunrise Eco Cabin is part of a 3.25 acre property. There is a large deck connected to the main building directly outside of our cafe and lobby. Each night (weather permitting), we'll light up the fire pit, making it a perfect night for stargazing or making S'mores. There is also a gas grill and Big Green Egg (large) available for your use. There is a short (0.5 mile) trail around the property that is great for stretching your legs in the morning or after a long car ride!
While we're secluded from the hustle and bustle, we're only a 10 minute drive from Downtown Dahlonega and all it has to offer. Guests of Barefoot Hills Hotel will find nature's tranquility and endless activities. Indulge in outdoor adventures, including hiking the Appalachian Trail and kayaking on the Chestatee River. Spend the day touring the vineyards at the heart of Georgia Wine Country - there are 9 within 10 miles of the property! We're happy to make recommendations and assist you in planning whatever adventures you have in mind.

If you are a cyclist, this location is perfect as it lies ON the Three Gap route and just up the road from the Stone Pile landmark. Check in/out was easy, everything was clean and just as advertised. This quaint cabin is tucked in and around the trees growing on a bluff near the Toccoa River. At night you can leave the windows open and hear the river rush. Dinner can be cooked and enjoyed on the screened in porch. If you have kids or just want to get away, take a quick walk down to the branch and sit inside the round bungalow nestled beside its banks. Located near fishing, hiking, tubing and kayaking.

  • Very peaceful and quiet cabin in the forest where you can definitely get away from it all. Not too far from some great waterfalls and hiking areas. The cabin itself has everything you need while you are there and has WiFi too, that is a major plus. If you need to look up directions for anything, be sure to do it before you leave the cabin because once you leave you have no service in the forest.

The Cherokee Indians named it The Toccoa River, which means beautiful and this treehouse is just as stunning as the waterway for which it is named. You'll have a private bathroom with a jetted tub; located a very short and grassy walk away at the main house. Plan to fish, raft, or just relax with a book. Features plenty of critters in this bright river setting. Private access to river; National Forest on other bank. Located 40 min from Blue Ridge and Dahlonega this is a true mountain getaway!
You'll notice a 12% community fee added to the price of the cabin. This is for union county and state taxes. We proudly pay our taxes in order to support our rural mountain community which relies heavily on tourism. ***Treehouse Awareness*** Please keep in mind that you are not renting a cabin. While a cabin is an experience that ensures you'll have all the creature comforts that one normally enjoys in their home, a treehouse is more of a glamping experience. What does this mean? The mountains are a very safe environment. We don't have crime. If, however, you are one to haul valuables with you on your vacation and want to lock them up, treehouses are not for you. Consider either leaving valuables at home or locking them in your car. Also, it gets very cold in the mountains, even our well insulated and modern cabins struggle to stay warm at night in the winter months. Please know that while many enjoy and in fact rave about the treehouse experience in the winter, you may be cold. On the flip side you may also enjoy seeing bright clear winter night skies and an occasional snow. All of this has its advantages and disadvantages, but please go in to the experience knowing it is not a cabin. The queen size bed is wrapped in high quality sheets and a down comforter. There is a coffee pot in your room and an induction stove to make breakfast. Other features include plush towels, large jetted tub, and firepit to cook the evening smores on, or even your dinner if you are real adventurous. The bathroom is a short walk away (100 yards) located at the main house with a private entrance. Key provided for exterior door and for guest use only.
  • We had a great time! Joni was so nice and responded to any questions we had right away. It was clean, relaxing and beautiful! So nice of her to share her firewood as well. Would totally recommend and go back!

    Lizzie2018-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Glamping is a good way to describe this experience. The location is peaceful, convenient to lots of sites and other small towns. The view is gorgeous as is the wonderful deck area. The jetted jacuzzi tub is a great bonus as is the basket left by the host! Joni was immediately available to answer a question when we called. The treehouse was clean and cozy, the little heater did a great job of warming us when it was cold outside and managed to chase the chill out. Go see the swing bridge nearby!!! Drive careful on the roads; they are crazy winding roads if you are not use to them and there is a lot of animal activity after dark. It's beautiful!!

    Melinda2018-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Charming treehouse on the Toccoa River. Clean, intimate, and beautiful. Highly recommended. Be aware that this is more of a glamping experience than a hotel room. The bathroom is great, with a jetted tub, but it's across the yard from the treehouse. No complaints from us about it. It was just what we were looking for.

  • This little bungalow was the cutest and cleanest place ever! The pictures are exactly what the room is like and everything about the room was perfect. My favorite things were the shower, it is all stone and completely beautiful, and the hot tub, it was very nice at the end of the night to go relax. I definitely recommend to anyone, they are great hosts!

  • Very private and comfortable room for two; Perfect for exploring Georgia's Wine Trail and relaxing in a forest setting.

  • Perfect place to stay when visiting Dahlonega and the beautiful Georgia Gaps! Everything was as described and in the photos - absolutely spotless with so many perfect touches to ensure an extremely comfortable stay. 5+ Stars!!

  • This place is a beautiful hideaway in the Dahlonega mountains. You can expect a beautiful, clean and safe stay while you explore what the surrounding areas have to offer. Check-in was very straight-forward and the premises were very clean. Peter was always a call away if we ever needed anything and gave some great suggestions for things to do in the area. The drive in was kinda scary at first (single lane road with big hills and low visibility) but there's plenty of turn off spots and the few people we ran into were very courteous. 10/10 would definitely stay again.

    Adrian2018-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable carriage house located in a quiet wood with small touches that make you feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this location to family and friends and will visit again on future trips to the area. The home is clean and comfortable, the location is tranquil and secluded; perfect for a romantic weekend.

  • Leigh was kind and hospitable! The tiny cabin was perfect for my wife and I to have a relaxing weekend in the mountains.

    Alex2017-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Leigh's little cabin in the woods is so cute! Perfect for me to stop for the night before hitting some trails in the morning. The cabin was very clean and spacious. If I was staying longer, it was stocked with everything you might need. Great space close to the AT and very private!

  • This log cabin was the perfect space to just spend a night away from the city. My husband and I spent a romantic night in Dahlonega and woke up early to do a day hike before heading home to Florida. Thank you so much to our hosts for making this space available to us.

  • Stayed here with my wife to enjoy Dahlonega for the weekend and it was perfect! pay attention to the note about the address, as "Hiker Hostel" is the only way to (Hidden by Airbnb) maps it.

  • Our cabin was perfect for our trip to the area. It was just the right amount of space for three of us. The main house had TV and movies that we didn't get a chance to take advantage of those. We would definitely stay here again. Ashley gave us a personal tour and answered all of our questions at check-in. She did a great job and was helpful upon check out as well.

Serenitree House sits on a hill and is built from reclaimed lumber from the old Hoyt Farmhouse. You can hike out the front door into the national forest and up to Pilot Mountain. The rough hewn wood gives it as much character as the location and design. You'll be able to relax on the porch and enjoy a fire while watching the sunset and in the morning the sun will shine through the 34 year old stain glass window above your bed. Listen to the birds and watch the stars at night.
Serenitree House is located at Hemlock Cottage on five acres with the main cabin where the family lives with their passel of farm animals - 1 retired party pony, turkeys, ducks, chickens and goats. We have three lazy house dogs and five barn cats that don't work very hard either. *Complimentary Breakfast: is served at the main house and includes fresh eggs from the barn, local sausage and fruit. Treehouses are glamping experiences and as such here’s what you can expect: 1. Comfy beds, k cup coffee brewers, heated mattress pads, microwave, refrigerator, outdoor george foreman type grill, radiator heaters, real furniture - dresser, beds, chairs and electricity. 2. 2. If you don’t like walking back into the woods to enjoy your treehouse. Here is what others have said about their glamping experience in our treehouses: "The treehouse is amazing and has all the basic amenities you could need. The surrounding property is quiet and charming, and you cannot beat Joni's warmth and hospitality." "This treehouse is absolutely adorable. I especially loved the windows and being able to peek out from the window at the top of the stairs. This became my favorite place to sit and watch the rain and the wildlife! " "Unique experience! Magical place in the woods. Not a traditional accommodation, but that's what makes it so special. Joni and family were great. Look forward to returning." "If you want to get away, to soak up the forest in a quiet house amongst the trees, visit this beautiful place. I have nothing negative to say about any part of the experience. I enjoyed eating a home cooked breakfast with Joni and her interesting and kind family each morning (she made syrup from freshly picked blueberries, YUM!). I loved meeting the sweet kitty who greeted me on the porch of the tree house as soon as I arrived. And most of all, I enjoyed falling asleep each night staring up at the windows in the roof, listening the rain on the tin, and walking up and down the spiraling staircase in the center of the house, lined in tree limbs and old barn wood in varying hues of blue. It was heavenly, truly!" Serenitree is designed to host couples/singles who want to get away from it all. The treehouse sits on private property but you are a few feet away from the national forest, where you can hike to the waterfall that creates the creek on the property or to the top of Pilot Mountain. The treehouse is equipped with a microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator, but doesn't have running water. There is drinking water and a camp toilet for quick night runs. The showering facilities are a short walk away (albeit downhill) at the main cabin where you are also encouraged to hang out with other treehouse guests (Abbie's Waterfall Treehouse is located here, too) or the host. You may cook in the main kitchen or sit by the fire in the living room. However, if you would like your privacy we understand that, too. Pets are allowed pending approval.
  • This is fantastic place. Perfect to get away from Atlanta. Joni is a super host and makes this place special. Coming back soon!

  • This treehouse is absolutely adorable. I especially loved the windows and being able to peek out from the window at the top of the stairs. This became my favorite place to sit and watch the rain and the wildlife! Be prepared to climb a hill to get to it but so totally worth it. The porch was perfect for relaxing in the rocking chairs to watch the sun go down or waking up in the morning for my coffee. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place. It made me feel like a kid again! Joni was such a great host and breakfast every morning is awesome! Her homemade biscuits are the best and farm fresh eggs! Can't wait to stay here again!

  • We arrived at 10 at night and Austin who works there helped up park, showed us around the main house and carried our stuff up to our treehouse. So friendly and made us feel welcomed! The treehouse is so adorable and cozy. The bed was firm and comfy. Only thing I would say is if you like puffy pillows, I'd bring a couple. Every detail was perfect though. I loved the book with suggestions around town to do. I loved that breakfast was included. I loved chatting with a couple of guys that work on the farm, house guests, and Joni's daughter who is helpful and a great host as well! I definitely plan to stay here again and stay for longer.

    Brooke2018-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very scenic spot! The tree house is a fun camping experience. The house is very cozy, and we stayed dry on a rainy night. The gas heater is nice for the cold mornings. Joni’s residential cabin is a short walk away for bathroom and shower.

  • Great, cozy, and spacious tree house with very nice and thoughtful rustic interior decor. It is located in the middle of nature, great location for hikes and nature sightseeing. Another great thing is that the treehouse is in close proximity to the main house where you can find fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room / common spaces, and full bathroom. Joni is very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Rushing Creek Cabin is close to Dahlonega, Helen, Cleveland, Blairsville, Hiawassee and Dawsonville. Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino in Murphy NC is just an hour away. Water Falls are all around these locations two of them are just down the road close to Vogel State Park. You’ll love the cabin, it sits right on Frog Town Creek. Great trout fishing Creek and if the rain is good you can kayak the class IV creek. The creek flows thru The Chattahoochee National Forest.
The cabin is 600 Sq feet just the right size for our tiny cabin we dreamed about owning. If you want peace and tranquility from everyday life this is the place to stay and just minutes from adventure.
The peace and tranquility of the creek and nature makes this the best getaway. So many winery’s just minutes away. North Ga zoo and Baby land hospital (cabbage patch kids) is just down the road.
  • I stayed here for two nights and couldn’t have asked for more. The cabin sits on the side of a steep downgrade that leads to a fire pit and creek. Inside there is a big comfortable couch and nice dining area. Overall it was very comfortable and the hosts kept in quick contact with me when I had certain questions, such as parking. I will definitely stay here if I come again and recommend this place to anyone traveling through the area

  • This cabin is good for 2-4 ppl. If you enjoy climbing it hiking it's for you. Furniture can use updating. Beds were uncomfortable. Cabin had a musty mildew odor that wouldn't go away even with sure freshener. The owners were quick to respond as we were reserving. We loved the solitude . And no wifi was great. Just need to update some furniture.

    Colleen2017-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • A nice quaint little cabin in a beautiful wooded wonderland. Our stay was too short and unfortunately we didn't really get the chance to experience. But we want to come back when we have more time.

  • Lindy & Matthew are gracious and communicative hosts who made sure our family was comfortable, including toys, games and movies for 3 adults and 3 children under the age of 10. Their cozy cabin is as described, with plenty of clean linens and dishes for cooking. The cabin is adorable and filled with black bear themed decor. The beds are comfortable. Lots of books, DVDs and games are available. The deck has a great view of the forest and creek below. It is a comfortable spot to sit around their gas fire pit or use the provided grill to prepare a meal. The town of Cleveland is easy to reach in less than 20 minutes, and lots of great tourist destinations are within 30 minutes to 2 hours' drive. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful cabin conveniently located to all mountain activities. There is even a waterfall across the street! You will be 30 minutes to Blue Ridge and Dahlonega! Many wineries. Private access to the Toccoa River and the Appalachian Trail is super close as is the Swinging Bridge. No driveway issues at all. No Saturday or Sunday check ins until we discuss.
All the luxuries of being in your own home. Just make sure you bring your food and 100% hardwood charcoal for Big Green Egg. I have all the spices and other things you might need. Coffee maker, blender, toaster etc.. Paper towels etc..
Private access to Toccoa river. You can fish/tube/kayak on our property at entrance. You must bring your groceries with you. The closest grocery store or Walmart is 30 mins away in Blue Ridge, Blairsville or Dahlonega. And VERY dark roads at night. There is tons of outdoor space at cabin and waterfalls/parks/wineries all over. Check Fannin and Union County's Chamber of Commerce online for specifics.
  • Great place to stay with all the amenities needed to make your stay highly enjoyable. This place is somewhat secluded which is a good/bad thing depending on what you're looking for. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying there.

  • Everything was set up and ready to go. Laura met us at the cabin when we arrived and went over everything with us including getting the Big Green Egg ready for that evening. She's a great hostess and was always available with any questions I had by phone or text.

  • This is a beautiful cabin in a very charming wooded mountainside. There are cabins nearby but not so close that they feel intrusive. These are homes not rentals like you get in Blueridge so there is more privacy and more of a neighborhood feel. There are hiking trails in the neighborhood and some good trails nearby. Laura is awesome and excited to share the cool things to do her community and very communicative while you're staying there. Fantastic trip all around.

    Tabitha2017-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cabin in the heart of the north Georgia mountains. Clean and well-equipped in a beautiful, wooded location. Private without being completely isolated and easily accessible by car. No complaints!

This cabin is located on many acres that back up to the National Forest. It is just a few short miles away from Cooper Creek Wildlife Management area which is known for its fishing. Also nearby is the Toccoa Swinging Bridge, Appalachian Trail, Benton MacKaye Trail, Duncan Ridge Trail and fishing in the Cooper Creek and Toccoa River. The winding driveway takes you far enough off the hwy to have complete seclusion and peace, but it is a very easy cabin to locate.

  • Peaceful and secluded cabin that was is so comfortable. Accommodations are very clean and are the style of a cozy cabin. The amenities are those one would expect. We had a great time with family time at a premium! I would recommend this cabin to friends and family!

  • We enjoyed the seclusion of the cabin though we were just off of the main road. The driveway is a somewhat steep gravel road but we managed in our sedan (not sure we would have faired as well if it had recently rained though!). The cabin was clean and the kitchen stocked enough for us to prepare all our meals with no issues. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this really does the trick!

    Juliana2018-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Joni's cabin is incredibly charming and CLEAN! The cabin is tucked back into the woods and seems very secluded, but is conveniently located right next to the highway. There is no phone service, but the wifi signal was great so communication was not a problem. Perfect balance of "rustic" yet convenient. Would definitely recommend!

  • What a fascinating place to stay! My wife and I have always been curious about container cabins and wanted to check this one out, it was even more amazing than we imagined. Very cozy, but very thoughtfully laid out, not claustrophobic at all. The only issue that was present was a slight smell when we first arrived, but we turned on the dehumidifier in the room and it went away quickly. Great bathroom with hot shower, no issues at all. AC is fantastic, the small space cools down incredibly fast. We are now planning on building our own container cabin in the future!

  • This place was wonderful, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice secluded stay in a very unique location. The storage container house is a must experience, and is much nicer inside then I expected. You are in your own area, but there are also several other cabins and containers available on premises. The hosts were amazing, and very helpful.

  • We had problems right from the time we reached the place. Not to mention, even to find your right address was a problem. The address  provided by you at the Airbnb lead us to a different place (   7693 U.S. 19 BUS 7693 U.S. 19 BUS, Dahlonega, GA 30533, USA (Website hidden by Airbnb)   )   , we contacted Mike immediately to help us with directions. Neither did he answer our call nor respond to our voice mail till now. No reply to the message I left via Airbnb . We asked people around and reached to only know our names weren't updated on your system. We reached around 3.15 PM. We were made to wait for a long time. So we decided to leave for food n return till you guys sort it for us. I left my phone number to contact me once the room was ready. Even after 2 hrs, there was no call or message from your end . So I called and then the person at your office said that our room is ready.  When my husband went to collect the key, he was asked to pay an extra $19. Which he refused as we had already paid the whole rent with tax online. Later in the night I received an email from you saying I have to pay around $92. Ok let me stop here. I got a huge list of issues we faced during our stay at your place. Long story short, it was really an unpleasant stay for us.

  • We loved the deck! The tiny home was very clean and just what we needed for our brief stay in Dahlonega. It’s perfect distance to downtown, wineries, and hiking trails. Managers were very communicative which was appreciated.

A true log cabin with a modern feel, overlooking the beautiful Toccoa river. 20 Minutes to Blue Ridge. 45 Minutes to Murphy, NC casino. Hiking, Fishing, Waterfalls all around. This cabin is a perfect getaway.
  • This cabin is a hidden gem! We loved every second of our stay. The location is amazing. The owners' thought of everything to make their home super comfortable. It's not your typical mountain cabin either. Highly recommend it!

  • What a great time. The location was perfect, and we were centrally located for the activities we did. I look forward to the summer activities!!

  • This cabin was very nice, we all had a great time there. It was very comfortable and quiet, just what we wanted!

  • This was my first Airbnb experience. At first I was a little bit worried and hesitant about the whole thing but, Aids was a great host. This has been the best experience ever. Aidan, was very good at explaining everything to us. From driving directions to where everything was at the cabin. The cabin was the best. Just incredible. The stream behind it added to the peace and relaxing time I was hoping for. The cabin had the rustic feel I wanted with a mellinial twist. Do not go for 2 days. Two days is not long enough to enjoy everything. The drive through the mountains was incredible. The wild life (deer) was great to see. Do not pass up on this cabin. If you plan on going to North Georgia, this is the place you want to stay at. Thank you Aidan for helping me with everything. I will be back and hope that I can stay again.

  • The cabin is everything I wanted it to be and much more. It's scenic, very tidy, and has all the qualities you look for in a vacation with the perks of feeling right at home. The pictures do not do this home justice. Definitely, coming back soon!

  • Don't look any further! BOOK THIS CABIN NOW! This place was EVERYTHING we wanted and more! Hal and Heather have truly thought of everything and you feel so welcomed as soon as you arrive. Between the peaceful river and all the cute details around the cabin, you'll want to spring for an extra night or two! We came to escape work and celebrate our anniversary and while we were there we started planning when we could come back. This is my first time booking with Airbnb and future hosts have a high standard to live up to. I'm grateful to Hal and Heather for opening their awesome little piece of heaven up and we can't wait to come back!

  • My daughters and I had a wonderful weekend at Heather and Hal's cabin! It is beautifully decorated and the view is perfect. The location is so peaceful on the river. Everything was just as described in the listing. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends and family.

  • This cabin is located on a beautiful stretch of the Toccoa River. Couldn't believe how close we were to the waters edge. Bring a fishing pole so you can fish for rainbow trout. It was nice to leave the doors of the screened in porch open in order to let in the sound of the flowing water. The cabin was clean, open, and inviting. The kitchen had all the necessities we needed to prepare all of our meals for the weekend. This is a rare find. I recommend bringing all the food you will need for the stay because you will not want to leave once you arrive.
