“Tahoe has it all from breathtaking views to yummy restaurants. Run, bike or hike a section of the Tahoe Rim trail. Bring birdseed and head to the meadows and up Chickadee Ridge to have the bird land on your hand and eat out of your palm. ”

“Another one of our favorites. Great water view, service and food. Our favorite dishes are; Braised Short Ribs, Mixed Seafood Hot Pie and Brick Pressed Chicken. It can get pretty busy at the bar. I recommend getting there early if you want seating at the bar or out door seating during the warm months.”

“This venue wins the local vote for best music venue at the Lake. They bring in terrific talent and the Crown Room offers an intimate experience. This is about 30 minutes from the house, depending on traffic.”

“Beautiful public State beach and boat ramp. Arrive early, very early because on summer days it will fill up very quickly and wont reopen until 3pm. You can park at Sand Harbour or take the shuttle to the beach from Incline Village. Check with TART website, fee is around $10. There is a restaurant but I recommend bringing your own food and coolers of drinks. Bring trash bags to take your trash out of park, do not leave it if trash bins are overflowing. Sadly in NV a feed bear is a dead bear! Please protect our bears! Paddleboards and kayaks are available for rental.”

“Everything you need. Although in California you cannot checkout in the self-checkout lane with alcohol. You must use the regular lanes.”

“Pub-like food: Burgers, tacos, burritto's, pulled pork sandwiches, salads. River side dining in summer months with a cabin feel in the winter months. Also a great spot for a pint but can get busy in peak season at meal times.”
