“Cockington is a beautiful village close to Torquay in the heart of South Devon’s stunning English Riviera – it’s a delight to visit all year round. Take a walk back in time along Cockington’s narrow lanes, lined with thatched houses and you’ll experience a quiet charm that is quintessentially English. Everything about Cockington oozes with history – there’s a water mill, a forge and even the cricket pitch was once a medieval deer park. ”

“Slighly pricy and aimed at the Rich and trendy. The road down is a bit tortuous and we wouldn't advise taking your car in summer although there is a small car park. You can walk down through Walls Hill or down the road, but take care, it's very steep and very narrow in places. However, it's probably well worth the effort. We only go in winter when it's quiet. You can also walk along to Oddicombe beach from here and tale the cliff railway back up the steep cliff route. ”
