“ Villa Lante è una delle maggiori realizzazioni del Cinquecento italiano. Da ricordare in modo particolare la Fontana dei Mori del Giambologna, le due palazzine (Gambara e Montalto) e uno spettacolare sistema di fontane e giochi d’acqua oltre a un bel parco boschivo. Tutta la Villa (tra giardino all'italiana e parco) occupa una superficie di 22 ettari. Villa Lante is one of the greatest achievements of the Italian Cinquecento. Special mention is the Fountain of the Dead of Giambologna, the two buildings (Gambara and Montalto) and a spectacular system of fountains and water games as well as a beautiful woodland park. The entire villa (between Italian garden and park) occupies an area of 22 h”

“Civita di Bagnoregio, ad appena 30 minuti in macchina, chiamata anche "la città che muore" è senz'altro da visitare. Un piccolo paese posto nella valle dei calanchi collegata esclusivamente da un ponte pedonale. Quando c'è la nebbia, Civita sembra quasi sospesa in aria. Ideale sia per le famiglie che per le coppie che vogliono concedersi una giornata romantica.”

“ The Tower Bridge , 230 m long , symbol of the city : it was the most spectacular part of the aqueduct of Cortaccione of Roman origin . It is considered a Roman - Lombard building according to some , late medieval according to others , unique in its height of 82 m . The monument is covered by a delicate operation monitoring of the stress state of the walls . It is considered an anomaly at the time of its construction : in fact , rarely in the same era were built civil use of such grandeur . The work is celebrated by Goethe in his Italienische Reise . The place has become infamous in time for the occurrence of some incidents of suicide [ 5 ] . Extreme towards Monteluco is the small Mill Fortress , turreted building that for centuries has played a supervisory role on the bridge .”

There you can eyewitness the evolution of works of art ranging from 1200 to 1800, including those of the two most appreciated Umbrian artists of all time: Perugino e Pinturicchio.”

Erstklassige Restaurants

“My favourite restaurant around the area. Located inside a historical palazzo in Cortona. It offers a vast selection of Tuscan food and wine. Try 'fonduta al tartufo' as starter, you will love it!”

“A gastro-bar in the city, this welcoming restaurant is popular due to its inviting atmosphere and well-established wine bar. It is a modern cantina which embraces a rustic Italian edge in its décor. You can choose from heart-warming main dishes including beautiful vegetarian options, to delicious appetizers such as a mouth-watering quiche Lorraine. Set amongst the arty backdrop of the city, it is a fantastic place to spend an evening in the fun ambience of Perugia!”

“This is the best place if you want to experience your dining with an element of mystery. The menu is revised daily and from season to season, meaning no two visits are the same! Reasonably priced, the set menus consist of antipasti, a first, a second and contorno, meaning you leave feeling extremely satisfied! Not only this, but a cheeky digestive is provided for afters too. If you are travelling with a group of friends, it is the ideal place to share dishes and try new things together. It is not so adaptable for people with allergies, so this is worth bearing in mind where relevant. Lunch starts from 13:00 to 14:30 and dinner is 20:30 to 22:00.”
