We will welcome you together with my helpers at Juliet Club, a cozy space in the heart of Verona where everyday Juliet Secretaries work. Here I will tell you more about the story of Romeo and Juliet and how the tradition of the letters to Juliet started. After a visit to the archive - we have more than 200,000 archived letters here and we receive new ones every day! - you’ll be ready to become a Juliet Secretary. According to your native language, we will give you some of the letters addressed to Juliet. You will open them and read them discovering love stories from every corner of the world. Then we will have some coffee and we will discuss what to answer. Now it's your turn to write a letter! Signed and sealed, the letters are ready for delivery. Other things to note: Juliet Club receives letters from all over the world written in dozens of different languages. I will try to give you at least 1 letter in your native language but this is not always possible, in particular when it comes to less spoken languages. Becoming Juliet’s Secretaries can really be one of the most thrilling and moving experiences in the matter of love and will help to support this unique tradition.

Join a funny interactive wine school in Verona’s city centre and discover the scent and taste of the most famous local wines in a lovely, cozy Italian “ VINERIA” where my friend and sommelier Bruno and his family will wait for you, ready to sip some great wines. We start with a soft but elegant dry and mineral white wine ( the glorious Soave) that opens the palate before moving to the aromatic Lugana (South Garda Lake). Then we taste the reds, all from the Valpolicella Classica area (west of Verona), enjoying a robust Valpolicella Superiore before sipping the King of The wines, the noble and intense AMARONE DOCG! We'll meet in the astonishing Piazza Erbe (the central Market Square), at the Fountain of Madonna Verona, and you'll be immediately fascinated by the stunning 17th century Palazzo Maffei and the breath-taking frescoes of Casa Mazzanti, together with the night life in the bars around the square and the small corners which hide stories, happy or heart-breaking, that will be revealed to you. We'll then continue through secret corners and intriguing alleys that cast their spell at night to get to the Well of Love, where the tragic story of Isabella and Corrado took place. Passing a couple of traditional and vibrant wine bars and enjoying the view of Verona night-life, we'll then walk along Corso Porta Borsari, where every single stone tells a story, to get to the Roman period Borsari Gate. Crossing Ponte Vittoria, we'll enjoy the enchanting view of the hills surrounding Verona and, walking along the gleaning Adige river, we'll reach the fabulous Castelvecchio, a 14th century castle, and we'll cross its enchanting bridge . You'll be part of the magic atmosphere and when we'll end at the spectacular Arena in its astonishing night-light, you'll be desperately lost in love with the irresistible, hypnotizing charm of this magic city. We'll start with the incredible Arena, a Roman amphitheater older than the Colosseum and still used today! Then, we'll continue along Via Mazzini, where most tourists notice the beautiful shops, but where we'll notice details and unique stories. We will then enjoy the lively Piazza Erbe, with its market and its picturesque buildings, and Piazza dei Signori, considered "the living room of Verona" for its elegance. In its buildings you can read all the history of Verona: the remains of the Roman city, the first 12th century Romanesque town hall, the first residence of the Scala family (XIV century), the 15th century Loggia di Frà Giocondo, the lions of San Marco placed by the Venetians when the city was annexed to the Serenissima and then chiseled away by Napoleon's troops, the Statue of Dante erected to reaffirm our Italian culture and language in the Austrian era, and finally the entry into the kingdom of Italy: all the history of Verona enclosed in this single Piazza! After having also seen the Scala family Tombs (the monumental tombs of the Lords of Verona), we'll pass to the neighboring medieval inner courtyards, as suggestive as only the ancient corners can be, and we'll finally end with the famous Casa di Giulietta, with its balcony and the statue of Juliet, among the most visited single monuments in the whole world. Get tips and suggestions about basic Gelato and Sorbetto techniques to enhance the natural flavours of the ingredients. Follow the suggestions of the local chef for choosing the best ingredients to make a perfect and super tasty Gelato. Prepare fruits, spices and other seasonal ingredients, learn some specific techniques like chocolate tempering or egg pasteurization. Mix the ingredients and create the real work of art: your artisanal Gelato is ready to freeze.  During this hands-on class you'll also learn the traditional recipe to make the "Sorbetto", a delicious and super yummy frozen dessert made with seasonal fresh fruits. When everything is ready you will enjoy your hand-made desserts with the rest of the small-group. During the class you'll also receive the recipes, so you can recreate the yummy Gelato and "Sorbetto" at home for your family and friends.

Meet my co-host in the city-centre, where you will take place in a comfortable and air-conditioned minivan, and there you will start to enjoy this relaxing half-day tour in Valpolicella wine region. During the transfer he/she will explain you about the local wines and Valpolicella valley. Then you will arrive at the winery, one of the beautiful ones located in the heart of Valpolicella, where he/she will show you the wine cellar and how the wine is kept. Afterwords you will sit around the table to taste some chosen wines, including the great Amarone! After taking some beautiful pictures in the gardens and vineyards, we will get back on board the minivan and we'll take the way to a second winery for another tasting. We'll start with a unforgettable walk in the vineyard, telling the family history of our winery and estate. We'll see the old traditional drying room where the grapes are air dried using Appassimento, a technique for which Amarone is known around the world, followed by a visit to the authentical ancien cellar for vinification and refinement. I explain you how we make our Great Red Wines. The experience finishes with a tasting togheter of a selection of our three fine wines, learning the evaluation by sight, smell, and taste. We'll enjoy the wine with bread and our organic oil, local cheese called Monte Veronese, fresh and aged and local cured meats of Valpolicella, Soppressa. Du lernst, wie man zeitlos maßgeschneiderte Rezepte herstellt. Wir zeigen dir, wie du die Pasta mit der klassischen, reinmachenden Technik und durch die Fritteuse verstauen kannst. Wir zeigen dir auch die Geheimnisse für ein perfektes Risotto und leckeres Gnocchi. La vostra esperienza inizia dal cancello della nostra proprietà, dove tramite una strada di ghiaia, sarete sin da subito immersi tra i vigneti. Arrivati a Corte Odorico, sarete accolti da un membro della nostra famiglia e dai nostri cani, che con le loro code e richieste di coccole rappresentato il più caldo comitato di benvenuto. Da qui, cammineremo insieme tra i vigneti, dove vi racconteremo delle tecniche di coltivazione e vendemmia della Valpolicella Classica, tutte rigorosamente eseguite a mano. A seguire vi spiegheremo le nostre tecniche di vinificazione, e vi mostreremo le zone di appassimento delle uve, e quella di affinamento dei nostri vini Ripasso e Amarone. Assieme, andremo poi nella zona del vigneto che abbiamo allestito appositamente per voi: un tavolo imbandito di prodotti locali, ed un assaggio dei nostri vini, ed una coperta da picnic con dei comodi cuscini, per rilassarvi in mezzo alla natura e alle nostre vigne. Nel picnic troverete un tagliere di formaggi e salumi, un cestino di frutta, pane fresco, ed un tiramisù. Questi saranno accompagnati dai calici di due dei vini di nostra produzione, che vi saranno introdotti e spiegati proprio come in una degustazione. Potrete poi rilassarvi nella pace dei nostri vigneti, accompagnati da buon cibo e il buon vino della Valpolicella Classica.

During this experience you will discover Verona from a new point of view: cycling through the charming and elegant squares and beautiful monuments. With the fresh air in your hair, breathing the many scents that spread through the streets of the center you will discover the most beautiful places of the city during a quiet tour of about 3 hours. Verona is perfect for cycling and the guide will accompany you to visit the monuments (from outside) and historical places, telling you when and why they were built. Together with the beautiful palaces, you will discover what the streets and squares once were and how the family who led Verona to its splendor lived. You will stop in front of the Arena, Juliet’s balcony and Piazza Dante and you can enjoy a break while the guide will tell you about the magnificent frescoed buildings in Piazza delle Erbe and you will even arrive in front of the Church of San Zeno, one of the most important of Verona both as a symbol and for beauty. We are farmers and winemakers, and we love bikes. We always move around our estate by e-bike because it's easy, not exhausting, and good for wellness. Since 2015, our Regione Veneto has authorized us to bring our guests along with us. We like to share the marvelous experience that is riding and learning about vineyards. We've opened a bike station and a little workshop—officina—for cyclists with flat tires. We are authorized by our Regional Government to ride with other people in the vineyards, because green transit is very much appreciated in our area.
