A great pub (with a lovely beer terrace overlooking the sea) that is a great destination for a cliff walk from Branscombe to Beer. A lovely place to rest and relax (and have a great meal overlooking the beach) after the long hard walk from Branscombe to Beer over here cliff!

Today, River Cottage HQ is a place to learn, eat and be inspired and the home of the incredibly talented River Cottage team. It's the venue for private events and courses covering everything from making pies and pastry, to gathering mushrooms and building a clay oven. It is also the base for a number of unique dining experiences including regular events in our threshing barn, the River Cottage Food Fair and River Cottage Festival.'

The Old Bakery is a National Trust property which serves lovely tea and coffee, scones and a selection of cakes and sandwiches. There is a small outdoor garden with tables in the apple orchard. Please check website for opening times but always worth a visit!

A must see for lovers of castles and mystery! Take the “ghost tour” of the castle or simply enjoy a ride through the Deer park. Alternatively, a lovely play area for the little ones and some cute animals in the “Perrin game zoo” area. Something for everyone!

Many walking routes available around the Donkey Sanctuary (some down to the beach for the more fit and sure footed)! Very nice cafe as well with wonderful views serving great breakfast!

Another lovely seaside town close to Branscombe. If you like fossils- this is the place to come. Lots of options with regards to food and a lovely sand beach for the kids to play on!
