Historic village with an old forge and a great pub. Park the car and go for a ride in the horse drawn carriage around the estate of Cockington Court. Take your photo in the stocks and the beautiful gardens.

very pretty village on the Kingsbridge estuary with boats galore and quaint shops and cafes. Beautiful beaches, well worth the drive from Paignton, about 1 hour via Totnes or 90 minutes along the coastal route via Dartmouth ferry and Start bay.
