Walking
Catch the train from Teignmouth (a short 20 minute drive from apartment) to Exeter and walk back. It's a beautiful 4-5 hour walk along the Exe Estuary. It's pretty much flat all the way. Even the train ride is special!! Most scenic between Starcross and Teignmouth.

Park at the train station in Dawlish Warren and walk along the full length of this often isolated beach (beyond groyne 10). It’s part of a 500 acre National Nature Reserve. Maybe park just before you arrive at Dawlish (turn off at Old Teignmouth Road and walk a short distance from here to the start of this great sea walk) and include the amazing sea wall. We highly recommend this walk.

Less than an hour's walk from apartment. The Cary Arms Pub on the way to Babbacombe is a good place to stop to eat or have a drink.

Hop on a bus (22 from Wellswood) to Teignmouth and walk back to apartment. It's a beautiful walk along the South West Coast Path. Be prepared for steps!

Park at St Marychurch (by the Model Village) or at the end of Petitor Road for free and join the South West Coast Park for a pleasant walk to Maidencombe beach, passing through the Valley of Rocks. You can return a slightly different way making this a great circular walk.
