New in Reno, this bar has quickly become one of the buzziest in the city. The name pays homage to the Holy Trinity of tropical cocktails. Classic drinks are shaken or stirred, depending. RSL's daiquiri testifies to the eternal truth that, in skilled hands, less is very much more.

For years, Whispering Vine in South Reno has been my favorite spot to catch up with friends over a nice glass of wine. Known by the locals for an amazing wine selection and great prices by the glass or bottle, it's the perfect place close to the house to slow down after a busy day with a drink and light bite.

Drawing visitors from around the world, Burning Man is not a festival. Burning Man is a community built in late-August each year. A temporary city. A global cultural movement… There are no “acts” or “entertainment.” What happens at Burning Man is up to the participants! There is no corporate sponsorship. It’s not about who you are or what you have. Participants collaborate and are inclusive, creative and connective as citizens of Black Rock City. If you’re brave enough, it is a life changing event.

Lake Tahoe is strikingly beautiful when seen from afar, with publicly accessible, secluded places close to the water’s edge and vast unspoilt wilderness away from the lake, especially to the north and west - Lake Tahoe is surrounded on most sides by high granite mountains with peaks well above the tree line, some covered by patches of snow that persist all year. The mountains are a very popular skiing destination during winter while offering unlimited outdoor activities the rest of the year.

Midtown is a special part of Reno and the heart of our revival. It's a commercial-centric corridor in the center of town that parallels Virginia and Center Streets, just south of downtown, from about Liberty Street to Mt. Rose Street. Featuring an eclectic range of businesses from one-of-a-kind restaurants to mom-and-pop hardware stores, Midtown is the most small-business-dense section of Reno.

In its heyday, Virginia City was "the place" for arts and culture. It boasted visiting celebrities, Shakespearean theater, two newspapers (one of which is where Mark Twain began his famous writing career,) and an opera house. Today, this historical culture is still available for visitors to enjoy. In addition to the activities and events happening throughout the year… shops, museums, restaurants, haunted hotels and tours through the old mines are available every day. It’s always a hit with our visiting friends and family!
