Take in the pretty seaside harbour of Salcombe with plenty of interesting places to eat and drink. Overbecks house and gardens is at the start of the Southwest Coastal path which goes to Bolt Head and beyond. If hot take a dip at South Sands beach. A good day with something for everyone including a spot of shopping in Salcombe.

A beautiful house on the River Dart which once belonged to Agatha Christie, of detective stories fame. Pop on the ferry from the Dittisham pontoon across the river and enjoy a few hours wondering around the lovely house and gardens.

A great place to take the family, with wonderful views and coastal walks beyond. The Castle is English Heritage and has dungeons with canons to visit and a super tea room . Some summer days you can dress up as a pirate!
