Love this place for breakfast, lunch, tea, or ice cream. The "Local" is fantastic as is the Russian Tea Sandwich or any of their home-made ice creams. It is the little apple of the Love Apple restaurant, which is a dinner-only place-- Also amazing.

The skinny is that we all love the World Cup for coffee. It is where everybody knows your name (at least they know what coffee you like and when they see you come in, they make it for you). Jen, the owner of the Manzanita Market doesnt sell coffee at her cafe (which is exactly next door) because, why compete? They dont offer regular coffee, only the best: americanos. They pour the cream for you and they only use organic. The best part? Its politically on point and they only use organic cream: 2.25 per coffee.

I am crying because this restaurant is retiring October 21, 2017. It is hands-down the best food between here and Santa Fe. Buffalo Tamale, grilled romaine, and doughnuts for desert! Tell Annette Haleigh sent you; you will not be sorry!

I know, right, sushi in Taos, I think I'll save that for a seaside town-- wrong! Gin and Hiromi are true artists, straight from Japan; decided to retire in beautiful Taos. Oyster shooters OMG. Only open Wed- Sat, views are outrageous and it is very close to the house. It can be crowded and they dont take resies.

This darling restaurant is set in an old church. It feels holy in there, very romantic, simple, and beautiful. Food is organic and very fairly priced. Do make a reservation: 575-751-0050
