This little café is also well known for Tina's bakery items - home made hamburger and hot dog buns, fresh bread, cinnamon rolls, spudnuts and at Christmas time homemade chocolates. My favorite two items are "Indian Taco's and mushroom burgers." You can check it out on Facebook - "Tina's Cafe & Bakery"

I enjoy Cobblestone Manor because of its uniqueness - the atmosphere is cosy and charming. It is more than just a restaurant - it is a historic site with immense character. It offers great home cooked meals and friendly service. There is a wonderful feel to this place. This venue is owner operated and they are very courteous with their clientele. "Built for a woman who never came, Belgian carpenter Henry Hoët’s 1913 masterpiece is now rarely empty. An Alberta Historic Resource, the Manor is stunning, its exterior lavishly covered by exposed river rock and its interior by old-world woodwork, authentic Tiffany glass lamps, and lighted china cabinets."

Great service and a wide variety of flavors to choose from served on a freshly made waffle cone, a regular cone or in a cup. They also serve locally made smokies.

Arts & Culture

I enjoy visiting Heritage Acres Farm Museum and attending their Heritage Days in July and Fall festival in September. They exhibit a large selection of vintage tractors, and other farming equipment. I would recommend it to anyone. You can visit their website for more information - http://www.heritageacres.org/

This is a privately owned museum - "Buck Home Museum". It is a replica of the first home in Glenwood and houses many original furnishings. Glenwood is very fortunate to have such a beautiful facility. On the same property is also a doll display. They are both beautiful and worth the time to visit. Viewing is by appointment only and you would contact Mel @ 403-626-3624.

They offer state of the art live theatre productions. I have seen Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Beauty and the Beast, Anne of Green Gables and many more. Their performances are superb! Cardston and area is buzzing with talented performers.

Sightseeing

I love Waterton National Park for all that it has to offer - some of which is horseback riding, bike trails, camping, hiking, boating etc. I appreciate that it is close enough to go for an afternoon drive or to spend the day there. I like hiking Bears Hump because it is a small/short and fairly easy hike and so scenic from on top. There are so many trails to choose from. Due to the Kenow wildfire in 2017 some of these venues may not be available for the 2018 season. You may access more information from their website; http://www.pc.gc.ca/eng/pn-np/ab/waterton/index.aspx
