Very centrally located. Lunchtime the roof-deck is open. Otherwise, sit outside in sidewalk patio and watch the tour groups go by, eavesdrop on snippets of Savannah history. Best burgers in town and great service.

Very festive Cuban restaurant with live jazz. Good Spanish & Caribbean food. Though they don't use fresh lime for margaritas so I would recommend sticking to sangria or a mojito.

Though a bit pricey, the food is excellent. And the mixologist creates the most divine mimosas. Brunch is terrific but get there early otherwise you'll have quite a long wait.

The best rooftop bar in Savannah. This has an incredible view of the Savannah River, the Talmadge Memorial Bridge and occasionally you will see large container ships traveling upriver to the Port of Savannah. Go for an early evening cocktail and watch the sun set over the South Carolina horizon.

Beautiful rooftop bar, nestled among Spanish moss draped live oak trees. This is a quiet, romantic spot to have a drink & a nibble in the late afternoon or a good spot to convene the entire group and compare notes on what you discovered about the city during the day. They also periodically have live folk-oriented acoustic music.

This Cathedral is the Mother Church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Savannah. It became the main church for free blacks from Haiti in the early 19th century. It's magnificent spires are truly INspiring and you will see glimpses of these spires from various locations throughout the Historic District. At 207' they tower over a city that has maintained a tight reign over it's historic character by limiting the construction of high rises.
