Nice rescued and remodeled school that now serves as a hub of Newberg Cultural Activities, it includes an Art Gallery, Information Center, Site for many arts classes, regular special events, seasonal Farmer's Market, Weekly Music in the summer...it has a great on-line schedule of events. Lovely building and grounds next to Newberg's Beautiful old brick library.

Friendly owner's ready to share their story and vision. This is a place representing goods from producer's who are social conscience and give back to the community, great back story! About a mile walk for our home, worth every step.

Our favorite, cuppa and a cinnamon twist. We feel like we have had an enormous splurge and really have spent only a pittance, but the sweet & caffeine cravings are well under control before we go to "seize the day". And if you wonder about the unusual hats worn by bakers...just ask!

My perfect day is going to Red Hills with a friend or one of my adult children, having a pastry or maybe breakfast... or lunch, sipping coffee or a generous glass of local wine. Maybe even playing a bit of bocce on the well kept court, sitting outside int he shade or inside with the hustle-bustle of the constant busyness of this marvelous market. I love living near this awesome, welcoming, delicious, first class eatery! Willamette Valley perfection!

Voted best Drive-In Movie Theater in USA, one of the last great outside screens. I remember coming to Newberg as a kid to see my Grandparents and loving coming down 99W into Newberg off Rex Hill because at night I could see the Drive-In Theater Screen (I saw 2 minutes of John Wayne in True Grit...loved it!). Fun and unusual Fri or Sat night entertainment!

I remember coming to Newberg as a kid to see my Grandparents and loving coming down 99W into Newberg off Rex Hill because at night I could see the Drive-In Theater Screen (I saw 2 minutes of John Wayne in True Grit...loved it!). Great shop within walking distance of our retro apartment to buy Oregon souvenirs, a special gift, unusual candies, wine related items, craft beer related gifts. Always cheerfully decorated, super clean and inviting with unique gifts for everyone. Located in a beautiful older home that has been restored and is the home of the shop and office space upstairs. Friendly yet professional feel.
