Jutting out on the river you get a wonderful view of the local boating scene with house boat owners and all types motoring up to the restaurant dock. What a blast... Watch for the occasional log floating by, and listen for the Air Guard F16's flying over in perfect formation. (sound of freedom) and God Bless America! This place is seasonal and closed during the winter months (Dang!)

400 acres of old growth timber stunning hiking trails but watch for the horses, (and horse apples HA!) Or better yet hit a local stable and do this on horseback. It's simply magnificent, and just minutes away from your room.
