Beaches

East Portlemouth - lots of beautiful sandy beaches opposite Salcombe. Parking in the long stay car park or use the Park and ride (high season) and catch the ferry at low tide from the Ferry Inn Pub across to the beaches. A small takeaway cafe by the ferry or walk along the coast up to Gara Rock Hotel for a spot of lunch, this has stunning views with a beach but a steep climb down.
