OMG, it's a miracle to find the best Thai food ever in Carson City... outranks any Thai places we had around our old home in So Cal. We always eat way too much when we go.

Absolutely gorgeous place to hang out for the day, but get there early as the parking lot fills up quickly. Bring your sunscreen... you'll burn faster than you think! There is a great little food stand where they also sell alcohol.

You gotta hang out for a few hours... it's a real throw back to the history of the old West and the mining that transformed the region. The money that was made in Virginia City between 1860 and 1880 provided the seed capital that San Francisco was built on. It's not uncommon to see people dressed up in full costume. You'll swear you somehow got transported back in time. Plus, notoriously haunted.
