This is your classic breakfast joint. We go here often after church. Tammy runs the floor, the breakfast food is just good old classic items. Feel like a local by going here. I did say "good old classic"...they only take cash!!!!

Like BBQ? This is our go to. Check them out online on the weekend as they may have live music. Also if you go, admire the bar stools. A good friend of ours makes them out of wine barrel staves and they are pretty cool. (Welsh tip...kids eat free on Mondays. Sides?....someone please get a side of pickles...they are so good)

Our favorite Thai place. Great food! I haven't had a dish that disappointed. Our friends who now live in Thailand would take their family here to prepare them for the transition...it's on point. It's good! (Welsh tip: Definitely save room for coconut ice cream!)

Great oysters and right in the heart of Leesburg. If you can get a seat you will enjoy this little spot. (Welsh tip...go early to the Middleburg location and drive there on the back roads!)

Want a beer with a view? This is your spot! Amazing view to take in the blue ridge country side. It is a little bit of a drive...about 20-25 minutes from our house but on a clear day if you want to sit and relax and have beer...this is the spot. If wine is your jam their winery is the next driveway past Dirt Farms entrance (same view)

It is a little bit of a drive...about 20-25 minutes from our house but on a clear day if you want to sit and relax and have beer...this is the spot. If wine is your jam their winery is the next driveway past Dirt Farms entrance (same view)
We are biased since this is our local (and oldest winery in loudoun) go to spot. Our brother-in-law used to work here and some our family still helps with harvest. Great views too!

A decent drive from here, but if you have time you will pass through the historic town of Waterford and the rolling hills of Loudoun county on your way. Once at Creeks Edge you will enjoy the peace and awesome timberframe structure. Check them out online or call as they often have live music. Worth the drive alone!

Parks & Nature
You would never guess this little park in the woods would be right on the edge of Leesburg. It has great hilly short hikes with a great overlook of the Potomac River. With it being so close to town it is great to do a nice walk/hike and grab a bite

Red Rock Wilderness Overlook Regional Park
43098 Edwards Ferry Rd NEYou would never guess this little park in the woods would be right on the edge of Leesburg. It has great hilly short hikes with a great overlook of the Potomac River. With it being so close to town it is great to do a nice walk/hike and grab a bite
Drive on Rt 7 west. Once you get to the top the mountain on Rt 7, turn left onto Rt 601. Park in the commuter lot right at this corner. There is an access trail from the lot that you will hike to top. AWESOME views and a great hike. It typically takes about 30-45min to reach the top. Kids can manage the hike.

There is an access trail from the lot that you will hike to top. AWESOME views and a great hike. It typically takes about 30-45min to reach the top. Kids can manage the hike.
