Food Scene
Vico Equense is famous for its excellent restaurants and food (mozzarella, delizia al limone, limoncello, etc.). To start, you have two restaurants at very short distance from the house (in fact, just down the stairs):
- Oasi – very casual - famous for its oven-heated panini ‘Saltimbocca’
- Il Bikini - excellent food with a breathtaking sea view
In Vico Equense, our favorite places are:
- Giggino Pizza a Metro (pizza by the meter) – the University of the Pizza (www.pizzametro.it). We normally order it by phone and they deliver it home for us (there is a small surcharge to pay– 2 or 3 euros).
- Il Buco – via Roma 19: like eating at Mamma's place

Sightseeing
If you are visiting this area, you probably already know why. There are plenty of things to see and do in the Naples area and Sorrento coast: Naples, Pompei, Ercolano, Mount Vesuvius, Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano, Capri, etc. etc.! … and, in fact, there are more things to do and see you will be able in one week, so you will have to decide on your personal preferences.

If you are visiting this area, you probably already know why. The Path of the Goods (..). You have to drive to Agerola (about ½ hour by car) from where you can trek for about 2.30 hour enjoying a magnificent view. Once you arrive at the end of trek you can go back on the same route or take the bus to Positano/Amalfi and then take the bus back to Agerola. There is a secondary, shorter route of the Path of Gods which starts in Santa Maria del Castello, a small village in the Vico Equense’s vast territory.

12 Piazza Paolo CapassoThe Path of the Goods (..). You have to drive to Agerola (about ½ hour by car) from where you can trek for about 2.30 hour enjoying a magnificent view. Once you arrive at the end of trek you can go back on the same route or take the bus to Positano/Amalfi and then take the bus back to Agerola. There is a secondary, shorter route of the Path of Gods which starts in Santa Maria del Castello, a small village in the Vico Equense’s vast territory.
