This is a wonderful no waste store that stocks food, soaps and other essentials in bulk. The food is the best quality all from local, sustainable, ethical farms. I primarily split my weekly shopping between this place and the PA. If you only need to buy a very small quantity of any pantry staple or spice for your stay… this is where you should go! Borrow a Tupperware or jar from the apt, or they have paper bags you can use.

the detour to pick up these delicious old-style bagels. Lucky for you, it’s
located one block over.
Avoid Saturdays and Sundays between 10-2. Ask for the sesame as they are
always hot. Great with cream cheese and smoked salmon!

The best sit down cafe for a truly delicious croissant. Beautiful art-nouveau Parisian cafe inspired interiors, fabulous food and coffee. A wonderfully cozy place to relax on a chilly day. I recommend the cheese croissant and “cafe au lait in bol” (just a really big cafe au lait) for breakfast and for lunch or brunch “feuillete aux champignons et fromage de chèvre” (mushroom, goat cheese puff pastry thing, served with a fabulous salad!)
