Beautiful botanical gardens, with a superb restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Makaranga is home to many beautiful statues in stone, bronze and marble that have been imported from Italy and Zimbabwe for your enjoyment.

On the last Sunday of every month the train departs from Stokers Arms on a trip with magnificent scenery to Inchanga:
• Spend time at Inchanga perusing the Craft Market
• Enjoy a picnic under the trees
• Pony rides and jumping castle for the kids
• View the Railway Museum

It offers a 4-hour guided tour and a chance to see and learn about the Zulu culture and it's ancient beliefs and rituals. It also gives you a chance to see crocodiles and snakes at the Reptile Park.
