Now the place is taken over by their children and they’ve added a hip/cooler vibe to the place without sacrificing the quality of the food. Open lunch and dinner.

One of the freshest sushi restaurants in Vancouver. Doors open at 5 pm so get there before lineup starts. I don’t think they take reservations. It can get crowded so maybe not so great with little kids. But there are other good sushi restaurants around the area that are kid friendlier.

Top first time in Vancouver to-do-list! But it is pricey. There is a small parking lot which is paid and can fill up quickly.
There is a free shuttle from Canada place every 10 min. If you take the day pass (called the compass ticket) on the public transport service you can use the public transport system. The day pass costs Can$ 10 and can be used on sky train, buses, trans and sea bus routes. For a tourist this is the best deal!
Or visit Lynn Canyon, there’s a suspension bridge there and it’s free. Locals tend to go here instead.
