We love walking around Crown Hill - I always imagine I'm Laura Ingalls crossing the plains and just seeing the mountains for the first time when I'm walking around Crown Hill!

Our favorite go-to hot springs. You'll spend the day here easily. Chalk creek flows through the property and as long as the run-off is not too bad, you can sit in the hot springs that flow directly into the river. If the run-off is too high, don't worry, the have many other outdoor pools. We've been in the winter and the pools are warm enough. The town of Salida is 20-25 minutes away and worth a visit if you've already gone this far!
