This is a couple of miles from Spinney and is a beautiful place to go. It is wonderful to enjoy in the winter with log fires and in the summer there is lots pf outdoor space with glorious views. Great food cooked on the premises. Highly recommended!

There is so much to do and see around us that you will have to stay for a fortnight!
This is a must see and Brimham rocks can actually be seen in the distance from the back door of Spinney

This is a definite must see. Children love it here as they can get close to the animals, play on the swings, enjoy walks to the sandpit and enjoy whatever is going on - feeding lambs, Hallowe'en lanterns, a maize maze. There is always something going on at Birchfield. There is a cafe and ice cream parlour and it is our absolute favourite place to go when our grandchildren come to stay.

This is a definite must see. Children love it here as they can get close to the animals, play on the swings, enjoy walks to the sandpit and enjoy whatever is going on - feeding lambs, Hallowe'en lanterns, a maize maze. There is always something going on at Birchfield. There is a cafe and ice cream parlour and it is our absolute favourite place to go when our grandchildren come to stay.

Lots to do in Pateley Bridge - local shops with fresh produce, tea shops, the local park next to the river and the chance to see the famous high street that sees the Tour de Yorkshire cyclists every year. It is our local village for all our shopping needs

These gardens are just beautiful and are only a 20 minute drive from Spinney. They have the added advantage of a formal Betty's tea room and a Betty's coffee stand inside the gardens. This is not to be missed.
