Bellarine Distillery was established in 2015 and is the first Distillery on the Bellarine Peninsula and the first in the greater Geelong region since the closure of Corio Distillery in the 1980’s. The idea originated - as most great ideas do - after a couple of alcoholic beverages. Having visited Scotland in 2012 and the romance of the highlands, the concept of starting our own distillery seemed like a good idea.

Best Thai food. I kid you not. Head down on Friday night to hang with the local bowlers or sat night, grab yourself some Bay Leaf Thai- the curry puffs and wonton and spring rolls are delicious. Why not grab a $5 oyster bay to wash it down with?

http://www.onedayestate.com.au/ Oneday Located at Curlewis on the Bellarine Peninsula, Oneday Estate is just over an hour’s drive from Melbourne. The winery is the Bellarine Peninsula’s most unique estate, specialising in weddings and functions for those who desire privacy, a picturesque country atmosphere and a rustic, handcrafted establishment. Couples can choose to have their wedding within the gorgeous country reception room, or outdoors with sweeping views of the rolling hills and 14-acre vineyard. The private reception room was thoughtfully constructed by the owner using handcrafted and recycled timbers, stone and iconic fittings. The materials were all sourced from landmark buildings and structures, including Queenscliff Marina timbers, old local Catholic Church roof trusses and the old Barwon Heads Bridge timbers, all more than a century old. The reception room even features a solid bevelled glass door that once belonged to Robert Holmes à Court. You can relax and enjoy Oneday Estate’s beautiful and refreshing sea breezes and views while you taste the estate’s small batches of handcrafted pinot noir, shiraz or riesling. Drop in and say hello and Oneday Estate can discuss all your needs. The estate is open to the public for lunch on Sundays from 12:00pm onwards, with fresh paella and other dishes such as Thai chicken curry cooked in front of you and served with salad and crunchy bread, as well as live music, picnic rugs and cheese platters to enjoy
