You can stroll down the water of Leith walkway and end up at the Stockbridge market. Running every Sunday. Fabulous stalls and foods, and after a wander round the market you can stroll down the little village of Stockbridge which has quaint shops, Inverleith gardens and the botanics.

Strolling along the promenade of Cramond Beach has to be among any most favourite things to do in Edinburgh. Time right and you can walk over to Cramond Island. You can get the tide timings online or beside the walkway on the promenade. Try got on a day where it isn't too windy as it can get cold.
