It's very vibrant and there's so much to do here - I love to go to Downtown Kitchener to try new foods from the multicultural food scene. There is a weekly farmers market on Saturday called the Kitchener Farmer Market!

Galt is a beautiful historic town located just 25 minutes from Kitchener. Some historical dramas have been shot here because of its classical beauty. Architecture lovers MUST see this place.

Excellent one-of-a-kind Italian market. Amazing selection of cheese, meats, breads, pastas, olive oil, and more. Seriously cannot recommend this place enough. You can get food, coffee, and even gelato here!

The Park was named after Queen Victoria ahead of her diamond jubilee on the British throne. The human-made lake is fed by Schneider Creek, surrounds three small islands, and is crossed by multiple bridges. The park also contains the Victoria Park pavilion, the Victoria Park Gallery and Archives, a bandstand, and a historic boathouse, a pub and music venue.

We just got streetcars/trams in the city! You'll see them zipping around - they connect Downtown Kitchener to Uptown Waterloo and the rest of the region! It's a quick and comfortable ride.
