From Martha Brae town there is a road going past "Martha Brae Rafting Village". If you continue on this road, you'll get to a place called "Bumkin River Farm" which is an 18th century abandoned sugar cane plantation. Nature and ruins look awesome.

If you want to experience a smaller version of Amazon River, take a tour along Black River. Black River is a muddy looking river with a lot of mangrove, inhabited with numerous birds. The main heroes of the tour are crocodiles! Feed them or become their food if you wish :) The tour is about 1 hour, costs 19 USD per person. Includes a visit to crocodile nursery.

Third best waterfall in Jamaica (my opinion). It's less touristy than other famous waterfalls, has a lot of things to do: - climb waterfall, - jump off waterfalls and various cliffs, - swimming in the river, - have waterfall massage - hike through the rainforest. Cost: 10 USD per person and you have a free guide. It's good to give tips to a guide after the visit. ATTENTION: don't hire guides in T-shirts "Tour Guide". They will be waiting for you before you reach the waterfall and they are scammers (!). Pay entrance fee and get a free guide instead!

The biggest waterfall in Jamaica. In my opinion - second best waterfall in Jamaica. It is called Y.S. Falls. Absolutely GORGEOUS! Must see if you have the time. It's worth the drive. 17 USD entrance per person. Does NOT include zip-line, but zipline ride over the falls can be bought separately for 50 USD per person. ATTENTION: closed on Mondays.

Waterfall. There are many cascades of falls along the river. Looks very peaceful and beautiful, but not as stunning as some other falls in Jamaica. Can be a bit challenging to walk unless you are relatively fit. Kids can get tired.

Top 1 waterfall in Jamaica. Why? Because it's absolutely stunning with the little lake at the bottom and waterfalls not only over the cliff, but also inside the cave, which is hidden behind the waterfall! On top of the waterfall you can climb through some grotto and see moss, which looks very pre-historic. If you have the chance to visit this part of the island - don't miss this site! Only 10 USD entrance fee.

Tacky Falls. This is a hidden waterfall that is NOT commercialised. You will not find it in any guide books (apart from mine). Even most local people don't know about it, but it's absolutely amazing place. It's historical and the views there are stunning. Only suitable for fit people, because a hike to this waterfall over cliffs in rainforest via slippery muddy soil is challenging. But if you can make it - it's definitely worth it. And hey, free entrance! :) To find the waterfall - ask me for directions in person.

Walterfall. Exclusive place. Very secluded and you have the whole park and waterfall to yourself! You can even swim in a swimming pool, which is made of river water. Apart from this -they have wonderful guides who will tell you everything about plants in Jamaica. One of the best places to visit around Ocho Rios. If you are choosing between Dunn's River and this - well, Shaw Park is definitely the winner. 10 USD entrance fee per person.

Well, for 20 USD per person it's not the best place to visit, BUT if you do have these spare $20, then you'd be pleased. This place has a large tropical garden with a lot of parrots and other birds (caged) and some iguanas (caged). The waterfalls are beautiful, but can't do much with them, except for standing under some parts of it for a cold shower. I personally was impressed with the plants in the garden, but everything else is ok. If the price was 10 or less -I would have recommended. Otherwise.. well.. it's an "ok" place with stunning views.
