Verkehrsmittel
There are many ways to get around in the city!
Public transport is called STM, it's pretty straightforward. You can buy different kinds of passes on Opus card, monthly, weekly, week-end or individual fares. Busses and metros are the same prices and Opus cards work on both. Trains are a supplement. Also, if you go to Laval or Longueuil, you'll have to pay extra to get back.
You can use bixi bikes, there is a station a the top of our street, at the corner of Royal and Côte-St-Antoine. You can either purchase a bixi key when you subscribe, or pay as you go with a credit card.
Many bike paths in Montreal, although not always safe.

Driving in Montreal
Driving in Montreal can be tricky, there is no right turn on red on the island and it is usually a free for all. Watch out for Jay walking pedestrains and bikes on sidewalk and going the wrong directions. Parking is usually paid parking. Take a look and remember the number of you parking spot, find a pay station and punch in the number. You can pay cash or by credit card. You can also download the app on the app store: P$ service mobile Montréal. In Westmount, you pay bt license plate and by zone number, app: Passport parking
